This tank's been out for a while but not many reviews or comments to be found on it :S
Anyone tried it out yet?

I'd like to know as well. And what is the difference with the parallel coils?

Thanks for posting that. That top fill didn't look very good. ..I'll hold off on that until they get things sorted out

I pre-ordered one simply for the design, I will let you know how it performs when it comes in.

I'm interested in your results. They might have done a slight redesign of the coils, due to Rip mentioning in his review, that they are sending him some other coils.

I have a thread up on the Rafale for about 2 weeks, I have been using the .2SS coil, it takes high watts, I use 90-100 in power mode on a Cuboid. I did try TC, TCR 108 with the.2, didn't like TC, definitely better in power mode. The top fill took a little while to get used to, now it's OK, I got no leaks. It uses juice like it's going out of style, but for cloud chasers it is over the top, took a week of break in to finally get flavor as good as the Crown if not better. I have not tried the .1NI yet, I'm looking forward to that. For me overall a thumbs up. Kinda like the Crown's big brother, big airflow. The Rafale has the same build quality as the Crown, nice!

do the coils last any longer or are they about the same?

Hey @AmandaD , after two weeks on the .2, it still is hitting like it is day 1, going like this I gotta say it will last longer than Crown coils, I mean the Rafale coils are close to twice the size of Crown's

How long do you usually get out of your 0.25 Crown coils?

Average, 3 weeks, I did a test on the third .25 I used, just wanted to see how far it would go till it was putrid, 6 weeks, I know I know, but 6 weeks.
Holy cow! I get 60 mls out of mine, sometimes only 30 - and I've been through a gazillion coils LOL That's 2 days...

What goes bad for you, flavor, cloud production?

No, I vape for flavor, and after around 60 mls my coils are black and taste burned. (And yes, I've tried punching extra holes in the cotton). I vape it too fast and too often to keep up and just burn the coils out quickly. At least that's my take on it! I DIY my juice with only around 8% flavoring, so it's not as if it's a coil killer juice.

Don't know if my technique will work for you, but I keep the watts low at first and move up as the flavor gets weak. You know, 50w for a couple of days then 60 or 65. I don't know really if that helps but that's how I do it.

No, I do move up gradually but only the course of an hour. I'll try your method, but I still think it's because I get it too hot!

Sort of related to the above but not really.... I noticed low quality coffee temporarily ruins the flavor of my vape.
Gives a short term burnt taste, might be because the coffee beans may have been burnt or over roasted.

Uwell has redesigned the Rafale Coils, the bottom contact now looks like the one on the Crown Coils. I just picked up four at my B&M, trying one now, smoother and a little less airflow than the original design, better, time will tell.

The only way I have found (that works for me) to a little more life out of the coils is to take hits twice as hard as normal.
Sounds odd and definitely requires more effort but it works.
Back when I used the SUBTANK, it hit the fire button and basically just let it push the vape to me.
But on some of these bigger/newer tanks, if I don't forcefully draw hard from them, they burn coils.
Keep in mind that my juice is definitely killer because it's 30% flavor.

I got mine from ecig.com today and the drip tip that is supposed to twist doesn't. Completely stuck in one set position, which seems to be in a semi-open state with the 2 top holes that doesn't even allow for bottom fill to be possible.

Called in and was told "lots of people seem to be having this issue with getting shoddy built Uwell Rafale tanks, there is a fix on youtube". Checked there, read up here and some other sites...not seeing anything. Am i just missing something, or can anybody help point me in the right direction?

Less airflow? IMO the crown is pretty restrictive already.

I have the same issue. I usually get 3-4 days out of my Crown coils, but that's only if I'm willing to put up with sub-par flavor on the last day. When I've got 2 or 3 boxes lying around, I almost always put in a new one on day 3. When I'm down to a couple coils, I deal with the slightly muted flavor. Also, I'm using fruit- and dessert-flavored pre-made branded high VG juices, so that likely doesn't help. Frankly, I don't care, though. I get a box for $9 from a place that's only about and hour-and-a-half away from where I live, so if I order early in the morning I get them the next day with bottom-end shipping. I was spending about $5/day on cigarettes (over 2 years ago before I started vaping and quit), so less than half that for 2-3 days is saving me a bunch of money.

Now if I could just stop buying tanks and mods, I'd actually be coming out on top. :(
