Vape is completely not working.

So i bought this vape off of a friend and its a nice one although i plugged it into my car and it started to act funny. When i charged it later in the day the battery got hot and it wouldn't produce any smoke so i figured the battery was shot. After buying a new battery, the vape now when i plug it in doesn't accept power, screen doesn't light up and nothing happens. Does anyone know what happened? Can i fix it?
Thank you

Is the battery inserted properly? The end with the ridge around it is the positive (+) end. If it's upside down, it won't power on. (Silly, but easily enough done)

Yeah it's looks like an eVic VTC Mini to me, too.

This is certainly a possibility. We've all been there.
The positive end of the battery goes to the top of the mod. Have you tried charging the battery in a battery charger, or just through the mod?

Also, not a fan of charging thru the unit with removable battery, and worse via auto power port. Too much vibration chance to possibly short out gear.

Things to try:
Remove battery and charge it on a proper charger- not in the mod

While the battery is out of the mod, plug a "good / tested" usb cord in to a computer then plug into the mod. If the screen comes on you might be ok, if not try clicking the fire button 5X to turn on. You should see something on the screen even with no battery.

I guess the first thing I should have listed is do not use your car charger as this may be the problem or could have caused it. Also if the battery is a trust fire or one that you can't verify as a "name brand" don't use it...ever

Get really familiar with the positive and negative on the battery and mod...put your reading glasses on if need be!

Good luck, let us know how you make out.
