Hey guys,

I was considering picking up a VC Glacier V3 in gold ( I've always wanted a gold RDA ) and was wondering whether anybody currently has one and what their opinion of it is? It's $69AUD which comes to around $50USD. Is it worth the money?

Cheers.

I've got the Glacier V2, and a number of other Vaperz Cloud devices and for Chinese gear they're pretty decent. They're certainly not to the quality of my Pinoy gear but then again they also don't have the price tag either. But to be honest the only gear I've gotten from VC that I don't like is the VCMT, other than that I like all the other gear I've got from them. What I like is a lot of their gear comes with a Copper positive post in the bag of goodies, I really, really like this. My Glacier, X1 and Prophet RDA's comes with the copper positive post and I love it for the performance is noticeable.

Anyway I recommend it, that foul mouthed Aussie the Vaping Bogan (I love his reviews, very honest and on point) gives it a decent review.

Cheers for the reply. I've got an X1 and a 25mm Buddha V3 from Vaperz Cloud which I really like as well. I watched the review and it looks to be decent and worth the purchase price. The only thing I don't like about it is the grub screws because I hate using hex keys. I may give it a couple of weeks to see if the price drops down to the $50 +/- mark like it did with the Buddha, otherwise I'll be grabbing it in the gold version along with Minikin V1.5 in gold as well. :)

Yeah I really love the X1, have a number of both the 25mm and 24mm's. I've also got the Mini Buddha but haven't gotten around to put it build in it yet (yeah I've got way too much shit).

We've got to differ on the hex grubs, I loath and despise Phillips and Slot grubs. Not only can't get a good secure grip but they are the worst for stripping. The complaints I hear on the Vape community about Allen grubs stripping is I'm 99.99% sure are from those that use the cheap ass included Allen Key and or are using cheap ass Allen Keys. I've got a healthy stock of Allen grubs and when I can I always replace the shit ass flat head and phillips screws.

I'm an old wrench head and the reason that Hex screws came about is because Slotted and Phillips are prone to stripping ;)

Yeah, the X1 is awesome. I had it in my rotation for a while but have since retired it for the time being for the Buddha V3. I picked up a clone of the mini Buddha in gold and I was unlucky enough to get a bent center pin. I emailed the retailer and they refunded all my money including postage which was nice. It still works fine so I'll probably still use it at some point, although I prefer RDA's where I don't have to take off the top cap to drip. I think I'll pick up a quality set of allen keys like you mentioned when I buy the Glacier V3 to make sure I don't strip anything.
