I see your points but I just see it as it is really necessary to vape right up to the point of getting knocked out for surgery, and immediately after awakening? It just seems a little crazy.

Hopefully you have never spent anytime under the knife for 4 plus hours and I hope you never do.

Trust me, it can be very stressful.

Me, I will take all the comfort I can get.

Since I was not allowed hard apple cider and lobster Mac and Cheese before or after, I went to my trusty vape.

I am now done with this thread.

I made my point and you either get my feelings and thoughts or you don't.

So today it happened! I did it I vaped in the Hospital. I have come down with severe Bronchitis and could not breath so went to the clinic they wanted X Ray so had to go to the Hospital. I pulled out the new Effusion DNA 200 and a Bellus tank and started vaping.. From about 50 yards a woman came almost waddling saying Ohhh !!! where can I get one! Then a guard saw it and came for me! He grabbed his holster then got on the radio. Now given I do not stealth vape at all.. I was vaping at 70w so it was kinda big.. He said "you cant do that here"! I said why? he said
"it looks dangerous".. So I put it away... I suggest not vaping at all in the Hospital the fear that was on some people faces was as if I was a Terrorist.. I think its not a matter of vaping but how you vape.. I would suggest not using MaxVG like me it was not good.. Maybe 30/70 or something I just don't know and not 70W maybe 17W ???

Sorry to hear about your Bronchitis! :(

But vaping aside, if you showed up in the hospital looking anything like your avatar, I really can't blame the guard!

Hell, you are lucky that they did not call for an Exorcist!

All kidding aside, I hope you are feeling much better very soon!!!!!!

Thanks I realize it was foolish but I was so sick today and I was more less just mouthing the vape more than inhaling.. I do think I am getting ready to drop the VG level of vaping in general MaxVG is just way to much in General public.. it looks ridiculous actually IMHO :)

Sorry to hear you've been so sick! I save my egrips for the General Public LOL It's easy to vape very subtly :) Sometimes I make juice with a slightly higher nic content to make up for the lack of hit!

I respectfully suggest not long enough if you're able to not smoke with bronchitis! 10 years isn't terribly long compared with many of the ex-smokers who now vape!

Yup! Those ones! I got em so cheap, 6 packs for $20! I surprisingly liked them and preferred them over Marb menthol after a while.

They were called Senecas

When I was laying in the hospital the only thing that took my mind off getting cut open and probed was my ecig. In fact I had a lot of comments on how good it smelled and I promoted it while I was there because a few nurses and even one doctor asked me about it and how it got me off smoking. The Hospital allowed vaping which I was surprised to find out since it was a popular and a large hospital. I had two operations at two different times and both times I got to kick back and enjoy it to its fullest and would gladly do it again.

the forum informing everyone about CASAA's latest call to action? Every other forum has one. All I see is a yellow giveaway banner which we all know is nothing but a way to advertise @VaporJoes services. Really makes me question the true nature of this forum.

Have you been wearing a blindfold all day or something?

THIS Big flashing banner: http://vaporjoesnetwork.com/funstuff/uploads/tAfOsW_Right To Vape2.gif

Takes you to HERE when you click on it: http://blog.casaa.org/2015/10/national-call-to-action-tell-white.html?m=1

Also I never would have quit smoking if I didn't get a gas station cigilike to use when I was at one of my dozens of hospital stays.
When you can not even stand on your own 2 feet for 10 days it isn't as easy to slip outside to vape.

I used to smoke Newport so when i'd come down here to where i eventually moved in Central Florida from Baltimore every winter I discovered "305's"
I guess they were made in the 305 area code?
Anyway Newports were like $45 a carton at the time and 305's were $13.99 a carton so that was a no brainer.
So I bought 18 cartons to take back up to Bmore for the 2008 summer season and when I got back 6 months later they were fuckin $30 a damn carton!!!
I was like "Fuck you Obama"

My friend is in ICU after spinal surgery, he is in a private room. both times i have visited him, i have vaped in his room. not blowing clouds and attempting stealth vaping a bit. nurses did not care, doctors did not care.
on the other side though, smokers were smoking in non smoking areas, right outside the main doors and the reception stank of smoke, also there were butts walked into the hospital almost everywhere.
on a positive note, the smoking area was empty as they were all by the doors etc, so if you wanted to vape there it would be pretty good without smokers nearby.

Where in Gods earth did you find those things?

Are local casino would sell them, they were more there though like $7 a pack. The casino was 20 minutes away but you would see a lot of people back home smoking them.

There is a corner store near my work that would buy them and resell them (obviously illegal) 6 packs for $20.

If you wanted menthol you'd say I want a pack of green, normal you'd say I want a pack of red, otherwise they wouldn't sell to you. They were sketched they would get in trouble.

Than they would bag em and tape so they didn't show when you left the store lol.

And yours wasn't??

No it wasn't, I am trying to raise a valid point but all of you just dismiss it completely for no reason other than something to do with my "mentality". Yeah because that is easier to attack and makes you look superior. And then you post things like this: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/vaping-in-hospitals.149561/#post-742295 which is soooo much a circlejerk comment.

Thanks man, did not know we were here to discuss grammar. Do you want all my posts to be MLA style as well.

I prefer APA. Much cleaner looking. Double spaced, running header, cover page, and at least 3 scholarly sources per post.

coould you all stop being assholes to each other
@yamoo and @rades have a valid point about vaping etiquette. I am glad to see others start to get the point
HOWEVER their point is being blown out of proportion.

Just as with smoking if the property owner says its ok then its ok.
Multiple hospital staff members gave RJ the ok to vape. Therefor as long as he wasnt walking down the hallways blowing vapor in people's faces, there was no harm to the vaping community done\IN fact his actions by checking with hospital staff, keeping it low key etc, shed a GOOD light on Vapers, becuase it demonstrates we are not all cloud blowing assholes

Now to all the other bullshit and memes name calling and shit, FFS knock it off people why does everyone keep the shit pot going and going and going and going

Lol don't even get me started on blowing clouds in public. It doesn't matter if you are blowing huge clouds or barely exhaling anything. Just don't do it. It without a doubt gives us a negative image, like we need any. And if someone is having problems controlling their urge to vape for few minutes, they need to see a doctor. Just step out of the building and vape their. People really need to understand this if we want to keep Vaping alive. It is an extremely simple thing to follow and anyone who does not do this is a complete jerk who has no respect for others.

And while you are here, why isn't there like a huge banner on the forum informing everyone about CASAA's latest call to action? Every other forum has one. All I see is a yellow giveaway banner which we all know is nothing but a way to advertise @VaporJoes services. Really makes me question the true nature of this forum.

If you don't like it here that much, just leave. It's a pretty simple concept to follow. We aren't here to tell others what they can and can't do unless it is a rule violation or unsafe.
