Vaporesso Armour GS
Sincerely, this Pod-Mod caught my eye as soon as I saw it, thanks to its aesthetics. I know there are many such devices, but I really liked this one enough to say, I want to try it. Then it was when I realized it was from Vaporesso, a somewhat nostalgic brand since a year ago, when I started vaping, I remember starting with a Vaporesso Luxe XR Max, a pod that was really a beast. That's where my love for Vaporesso comes from, although if something bad needs to be said, it will be said.
In short, this is a Pod-Mod with a 18650 battery, obviously not included. A cartridge that adopts the GTX coils of Vaporesso, a capacity of 5mL (which really runs out quickly). And what to say about the aesthetics, simply, I'm in love with it.
Let's move on to the review, not without first thanking Kavis from Sourcemore for making this review possible. You can visit his site and learn more about the Vaporesso Armour GS, plus he has provided me with a code (ARGS) that lowers the price to $28.69, really a bargain for the device it is.

Packaging
It is possible to easily appreciate the usual Vaporesso packaging design. We can see a box that combines black with green, giving an elegant touch and really nice, to lie.
In the center of the front we find a picture of the device, in this case, coincides with the chosen color so you could say that there is an individual packaging for each color. At the top we find some branding and it is indicated that the battery is not included. Finally, at the bottom we see the model of the device, Armour GS.
On the back of the box we can find the usual. At the top we find some specifications along with the contents of the box, which is quite interesting.
In the box;
1*Armour GS Mod
1*Armour G Series POD DTL
1*GTX 0.15Ω Mesh Coil
1*GTX 0.3Ω Mesh Coil
1*Type-C Cable
1*User Manual
1*Warranty Card
As we can see, the contents are quite complete. One thing that is missing is the MTL pod. Indeed, Vaporesso has designed a specific pod for MTL but it is only included in a specific packaging of the Armour G version, which we will discuss in more detail later. I really believe that it doesn't cost anything to add an extra pod, especially if it will provide a different vaping experience.
Once we open the box we find the device and its accessories encased in a custom-made plastic case.
On the left we see the Armour GS. On the right we can see the spare coil and the charging cable.
I really appreciate when brands take care of the packaging and honestly, I prefer a “rubber” or “pad” case, as I find it more elegant and gives a sense of quality to the device.

Device Inspection
On the front of the device we find a 0.96 inch TFT Screen, which we will discuss later. In the same area we find a button, which has engraved in its center the Vaporesso logo. In addition, it is painted orange and I think the combination with the green is spectacular. At the top we find the cartridge which we will talk about later in more detail. Just before the charging port we find the lock and power up/down buttons. Finally, at the bottom we find the charging port, which has a fast charge to 5V/2A. However, I and many others recommend charging the 18650 or other batteries in a specific charger and not in the device itself.
I don't know if you can see the side of the button in this image, but it has a perfect curvature for your finger. It reminds me a lot of GeekVape devices, as they always implement this shape in their actuators. The feel is very good, it has a relatively long travel compared to other kits and I love that.
Let's move on to the display area. Here we will talk a bit about the UI generally.
To begin with, we have three different UIs, each focused on a different audience;
- General; In it we find a simple design, where we are shown all the basics we need to know. In it we find the vape mode, the remaining battery, the power to use, a lock that indicates the button lock, the resistance of the coil, a puff counter and duration of puffs and finally a small animation.
- Race Car (by far my favorite, apart from loving vaping, I love the car); The information is practically the same, but changes the way it is shown to us. Now the power indicator, apart from being in numerical form, we find as if it were a speed or rev counter of a car. In addition, the simple animation of before is exchanged by a car, that really looks like a Lamborghini.
- Rim; The only thing that varies is the font with which is written the power and the animation, in this case it is a kind of tire that rotates continuously.
Really, I love these little details, and more to me, I'm an automotive lover, although the UI is really subjective. Add to this that each UI has an animation when the puff is taken and that it can be easily turned off.
