My pico is great. I hardly use my melo 3 mini anymore. I threw an aspire cleito on there and its perfect. Highly recommend. Also, coils in the cleito are simple as can be to change.

Never use the Tarot but i love the Pico 75w. The Melo tank that came with it was just blah to me, not bad but not what i like. I use my Fremax Star tanks on them. Only thing is most of the originals have chrome/silver plating that wears over time revealing bronze underneath, messes up color scheme if your into looks That's the top metal, bottom metal, battery cap, and firing button that changes color. The newest models are un-plated bronze so i guess colors don't wear on those.

Thought about buying the Pico Mega but 5 more watts is not much of a difference unless my original dies. The Pico Dual is interesting but i don't like odd shaped mods in my pocket.

I like them both for mini setups. Tarot has a better board/screen. Pico has a removable battery. Note, not sold on the tank that comes with the Tarot kit because the coils that came with it did not last long. But it is top airflow and does not leak. I don't use TC so can't speak on those functions.

thx for the reply rong yao and chief 63 you said coils didnt last long are they easy to swap out ?

Yes, easy and cheap. I ordered a couple packs and I'll try them again when they come in, but the ones that came with the Tarot kit where not great. Performance dropped off after only a couple fills. Maybe I just had bad luck.

Well now im.happy , have a red nano on the way right now, internal battery not a huge fan but need a emergency stealth mod , what's the widest tank you can fit on there , was debating one of the smok spirals or a Melo rt

I have a pico and a pico mega. Both are great inexpensive mods. But one thing about them turns me off, and that's the close proximity of the battery cap to the 510 pin. Prevents anything over 22 mm from being used (I think mine is something like 22.9 mm). Kinda screws me on the major portion of my tanks.

Here is the Tarot topped with something larger...an OBS Engine mini that is 23 mm/3.5ml. It fits, but certainly looks better and is more stealthy with something smaller like the Smok Spirals.

thx i amhoping the tank it comes with will do ok or i hope any ways or else stick an aspire cleito onto it since i am shopping for a newt tank anyhow since my ultimo tank cracked never tried clapton coils untill that ultimo tank but man that tank had good clouds and flavor with those clapton coils

I'm going with the istick Pico I have 2 of them and I run 1 of them on a cleito tank. The flavor is awesome and fits snuggly on the Pico. I love the mod and hard to find better one for that money.

Now that I have both mods I can say that I like/love both for their own reasons. I like how small both are but the Tarot Nano gets kudos for how ergonomic it is. Melo 3 is a good tank but the VECO tank that comes with the Tarot is more of what I like. Pico gets kudos for battery life. Tarot for the built-in battery that charges incredibly quick. Coil changing on the Tarot couldn't be simpler/easier and it isn't a threaded design which I absolutely love. Size of both is similar but the Tarot is just a little smaller. Tarot is also noticeably lighter (weight).

But as I said - I love both and couldn't be happier with both purchases.

So i have both now and wanted to post my thoughts for future visitors.

First the tanks. Even though i don't use them now, i have a few thoughts. Vaporesso's tank is smaller, more stylish, easier on the lungs with smoother draw. But it also whistles no matter how open the airflow is. Melo produces more vapor. Flavor wise, in Melo i need to bump up wattage to get a good flavor, which results in an uncomfortable hot vape. It also spits back. I haven't experienced any spitback on Vaporesso's tank. All said, the only reason i wouldn't use Vaporesso's tank is the whistle. Otherwise it is the winner.

For the mods, first of all Tarot has much longer battery life for me. I would say twice as much. I think it comes down to lipo vs 18650 battery differences. It also supposedly allows to use full power all the way until the battery is empty, which i havent tried. On Pico you are limited to your 18650 battery performance. Which gives less and less voltage as the battery goes empty.

Size and weight wise, Tarot is the winner. It is slimmer, lighter, and narrower. But Pico will be a few mms shorter thanks to that battery cap design. Tarot also looks better (subjectively). It also feels much smaller in the hand thanks to its narrowness. Pico feels more solid but i felt like there was a brick in my pocket, Tarot is a bit better in that aspect.

Pico as you already know supports 22 mm tanks only, maybe 23 depending on the tank. Tarot is 22 mm wide too but it allows higher diameters, but it can look funny. But a short tank with 24 mm diameter won't look too bad if the colors match too.

Buttons on the Tarot are better, less rattly but smaller. Pico's menu navigation and mode switching is easier. Pico is also firmware upgradable and has a 3rd party firmware called ArcticFox.

A huge pro for Tarot is the ability to define power curves, from the mod itself. A huge godsend if you are dealing with small error margins on your rebuildable tanks. Or want to do your own temp control on Kanthal. You basically set seperate wattages for every 0.5 second step.

These are what my experiences are. I would go for Tarot Nano anyday, unless i absolutely need to be able to replace batteries. Which i usually do when i go camping for a few days. That is about the only reason i still have the pico.

I have both. They're my "take to work and don't pull down my chefs pants" mods. I like the Pico for the removable battery. The Tarot is lighter and has longer battery life. But they're both great little mods and I use them interchangeably.
