I love the look of the new Vapresso Target but I have concerns about the ceramic coil structure. I remember when Aspire first released the Atlantis and the coil problems they experienced. Anyone have any info?

the target +tank air flow is nowhere near direct lung hits for me. but the flavor was good for a few hits at a time no chain vaping. at least for me there are several threads i saw on the target and its tank.

I have found that the coils didn't last very long and if you accidentally took one dry hit the coil was done for

I was interested in the Target Tank, but not the mod... Found I'd have to buy the kit but that killed all interest in the ceramic coiled tank..oh well, lololol

I own the Tank and the coils and I love it, there isnt anything that has the same flavor that I have tried so far and it brings out the best in juices, even makes some muted flavors become more alive. The draw is similar to a Kanger Subtank V1 and I find it perfectly fine.

Theres already 2 threads about the Tank and its coils, Ill post links...

Heres my findings:
Vaperesso is on the case of the coil testing and they are trying to be as translucent and ad proactive as possible with the process, any and all information about testing will be publicly announced and if the second batch shows as toxic they will change/stop the use of the materials.
MSDS Report:

RHoS Report:

Ive heard that the testing done by the third parties and no toxins were found, the opposing vendor that originally said they were toxic and were in the midst of testing a new batch havent responded yet....Its been awhile so Im guessing all is good and they were just starting shit to deter people from the coilheads.

Phil posted Vaperesso's Response here:

Vaperesso's Statement after 3rd Party MSDS and RHoS Testing and Approval:
"It is reported that some of our competitors are spreading malicious and untruthful statements to defame our products. Some of them even infringe our legal right by producing clones illegally. Smoore will continue to collect user feedback on products, continuously improve our customer service sector, and meanwhile crack down untruthful accusation about the quality of our products. Any defamatory action aiming to bring malicious competition against us will have legal consequences, and Smoore reserves the right to file lawsuit against those activities."

Phil seemed to like the coils and the tank (except the AFC) and was pretty neutral about the mod itself. Seemed like it would be a great starter kit for someone just coming to the vape party.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I think I might just wait and see on this one. Price might drop a bit too.

The tank does interest me, but I see all these trigger style mods and can't help but think that some cop is gonna think it's a gun and shoot someone. Doubtful to really happen, but I wouldn't carry it around. There are worse, I know of at least one mod that truly looks like a pistol grip, especially in black. Bad idea, sadly.

I'm really interested in the ceramic, and also that new tank by Guo, the Altus. Definitely need to wait on that one based on price and not wanting to be a guinea pig. I'm interested to see if it catches on, and if mods start to cater to it as an option. Always new stuff in this industry.

You shouldnt be discouraged from buying a Trigger/ Pistol handle style mod...It wont look anything but a vape device while holding it and when not holding it it looks nothing like a pistol. A cop always assess the situation before acting when dealing with a open carry situation so if someone did ever call you have nothing to worry about. I think I know the mod your talking about, its one I was interested in and will buy this next month...Point Blank Lite, the Brass version was a bit much and too expensive to me..Maybe your thinking about the Helve, Sniper, or Magnum though....lol
