Vapresso Target Pro Or Joyetech Cuboid 150

Hey guys,

So I just recently started vaping and quite happy with the Kanger Subvod Mega TC. Gonna use it for a month or two and then shift to a decent box styled vape. I checked out quite a few and want to start saving up for it. I'm confused about Vapresso Target Pro & the Joyetech Cuboid 150w with the Smok Tank (Don't know which one).

The thing is, I live in Dubai and the sale of all this is banned. But somehow people end up bringing it to Dubai and selling it. So I want to know the differences between the two and which one should I purchase for longevity and good vapor production with flavor. Now the 'vendor' was insisting the Cuboid 150W with the Smok tank but I think he wants to make extra money. I saw the vapresso Target pro reviews and it seems like quite a good device which I can be happy with for the next 6-7 months.

Being in Dubai makes E-juice, coils, mods literally everything related to vaping expensive. Even the bloody cigarettes cost less than 3$ per pack out here (20 per pack) -.- Spent about 200$ in two weeks since I started vaping.

Looking forward to DIY juices and luckily found someone who can get decent prices coils for me, what do you guys think? Which one is better in the long run?

Thank you in advance guys :)

-Ravenfraust.

It would all depend on the tank. If you're looking at the TFV8 you'd want to get the Cuboid because the Target Pro is only 75w and would be at the low end of the range for that tank. I have the TFV8 and I usually run it at 120w. The thing with the TFV8 is you'll be going through juice like crazy.

I have the Target Pro and I use Uwell Crown and Crown 2 tanks with it. I don't know if they've got the coil issue figured out on the Crown 2 tank yet so my suggestion would be to get a Crown 1 tank. It's a good tank with good flavor and decent vapor production. If you want to get the Crown 2 tank I would suggest using the Rafale coils until they get the issues with the Crown 2 coils solved.

Of all the tanks I have, 17 and counting, I keep going back to the Crown tanks. For me they just have the best flavor.

1. Take the very bottom piece off a Crown 2 coil
2. Put that in place of the bottom piece from the Rafale coil.
3. Put the newly designed Rafale coil into your Crown 2 tank and enjoy.

If you wish to rebuild, the VRBA from the Uwell Rafale is supposed to fit the Crown 2. They're easy to rebuild and very versatile and what I use about 95 percent of the time now.

For the mod, I'd steer you away from the Cuboid. I have one. Really janky battery door, and the 510 connector is not very good. It's heavy and doesn't seem to do well in the hand. You may respond differently on that one but I wouldn't lose sleep if I happened to lose my Cuboid.

That's what I have planned. Just waiting for the original Crown 2 coil to die. Must have got lucky because I'm going on 3 weeks and it's still going.

I have a Rafale coil in my other Crown 2 tank and the airflow seems about the same. Gonna try changing the base, but not sure it'll make much difference.

Personally I wouldn't get either.
The Cuboid is heavy as hell and the Target Pro seems more like a toy than anything else.
The Cuboid provides more room for upgrades in tanks/coils later and may be more durable but damn, it is 3 times heavier than it looks.
If you are one to carry it in your pocket, prepare for your pants to fall off.
(I don't carry mine in my pocket so I can't say that is any more than an exaggeration)
However if those are the ONLY two mods you have to choose from, get the heavy ass Cuboid.

I have a cuboid , and i bought from Dubai too :) .
Till now it is working fine and im satisfied , yes it is a bit heavy and after i bought i found there is a problem in some batches of cuboid .. it gives u atomizer short and lots are complaining of.... found many videos illustrating how to solve .
My opinion is to first check what watt do u use... do u really need the 150 watt
I think small size is a positive thing
If u are a starter i suggest trying the istick pico . For tanks aspire cleito or uwell crown are best for beginning and also have rba heads
If u are into building ur own coils try using serpent mini it is 22mm tank and very nice with flavor and moderate clouds

Could i ask where do u buy your stuff in Dubai, u mentioned u found decent prices ! Help us :)

Sure thing :)

If you want the 'cheap' Juices, you can get them in Dragon Mart. Call this guy '052 7688059' and tell him Ali sent you. He's got decent brands of e juices for around 50-60 and cheap ones for 20 bucks. I got the authentic coils from him for 60 aed where online its' around 130-150. He's also got insaaane variety of Mods/Tanks. His name is Shahzaid.

If you want to premium e juice or DIY stuff, Cloud house vapor all the way. They package in such a way that customs don't catch it, and they have good variety too :) No way I'm paying 100+ every time to refill my e juice LOL.

I already have the kanger subvod mega TC as starter. I was looking into a box mod. I don't know if I will use 150W but something with good flavor and vapor production. It helps me calm my nerves when there is more vapor oO

Actually he has quite a few of them, I thought looked at those two. Any suggestions? Not into building it myself, just something I can vape on and be happy for a very long time :) And does not need maintenance every other day :/

I can't tell you what you want.
If it were me, I'd get the Smok H-Priv, or Smok Alien, or Hohm Wrecker G2, or maybe a Smok X Cube Ultra.
Each have their own purpose for me.
The Alien is the smallest, the G2 is the largest.
If you want to be able to use TC on anything, the G2 is your choice.
Just options, there are too many mods out there that'll suit anyone's needs.

That's true, there are a lot of mods/tanks/coils etc and is unique to each and everyone's taste and preference. I wish there was a vape shop where I could try out new flavors and new tech :(

Just a list of things I would want in my vape:

1. Has good flavor
2. Good vapor consistency
3 Tank coil usage. Do not want to build coils or plug in cotton all the time. (I'd love to, the accessibility of the products out here is rare)
4. Not too heavy. (I carry mine around all the time)
5. I prefer Temp Contorl for some reason.

That's about it :)

Any help would be appreciated!

If I lived in an area where vape gear was hard to come by, I'd open a vape shop.

With vape gear hard to come by, my first thoughts are the reliable older mods like the IPV 3 Li, or one of the Sigelei 150's, but not sure if available there. Also, these are wide across the hand, and narrow front to back by modern standards and don't have all the latest TC features. These mods remain expensive on eBay, so it seems some people know they are workhorses.

Cuboid would be my pick of the first 2, but I gotta mention the potentially fidgety battery door as a con.

If looking to build in future, the Smok tfv8 cloud beast comes with good sized RBA as well as prebuilt coils.

Smok tfv8 baby beast needs less power, easier on juice and batteries. Less conspicuous.

Smok tfv4 is older design, still a good tank, but if I had to replace it, I would go with one of the newer tfv8 tanks. RBA options got mixed reviews.

Don't forget a couple sets 18650 batteries from a reliable brand. LG, Samsung, Sony.

Also, a charger that will stop before overcharging, like Nitecore, eFest LUC, etc.

Aspire coils and tanks are also produced in large numbers, if he has an Aspire Cleito or Cleito 120 tank. The Cleito RBA is a separate item.

Maybe check a few YouTube reviews on these. Some of the tfv8 coils like the 6 and 8 might be a little underpowered with the Cuboid. The 4 and rba should be ok.

And be fines for nearly half a million Euros and be deported? No thanks

Ohhh, that is a different story.
I overlooked the part in your original post where you mentioned vape gear was banned in your area.
So I was thinking it was simply scarce or hard to come by.
My error.

The thing is, I don't want rebuildable stuff. If I ship everything internationally, it's gonna cost me a bomb. All I want is a nice mod + tank and DIY juice to set me up for life. Something with Temp control too.

I'm honestly leaning towards kanger subox 75w or the cuboid 150w with a nice tank with little hassle. Any good tanks with inexpensive coil replacements?

I listed a few mods above that'd fall in line with what you said you were after.
As for tanks with inexpensive coils...
Apire Cleito
HorizonTech Cerakoat (almost identical to the Cleito but not interchangeable)
Tobeco Super Tank (original)
Freemax Starre Pro
Joyetech Cubis
