Introduction
The Capt'n Kit is the latest from the Super Heroes series of devices from Vaptio, this is were i usually with these devices defend Vaptio pointing out why i don't believe these devices are aimed at children, just look at the plain packaging and make your own mind up my opinion hasn't changed. The kit comprises of the Capt'n 220w TC mod and Paragon Tank. I make no apologies for liking Vaptio devices and rate their products very highly whether it be their earlier starter kits, pod devices, vape pens or more recently their high powered devices, so i will get on and give my thoughts on the Capt'n Kit.

Aesthetics and Ergonomics
The Capt'n Kit comes in typical Vaptio packaging and the first thing i noticed was it's a very small dual 18650 device, on picking the device up i also found it to be quite light. The lightness of the device is due to IML material being used which is lightweight while still being strong and durable, it's the same finish used on the Vaporesso Revenger series of device's and like those devices has a mirror like shiny metallic finish which makes it a fingerprint magnet. The device is wider at the back of the device and the sides slope inwards making the front narrower giving the device a nice ergonomic feel in the hand. The device comes in various designs between White on chosen colour designs and etched groove designs, i received the Black version, it's also available in Blue, Red, Green, Gold, Pink and Rainbow all come with a matching colour tank. The front of the device has large round black fire button with a Silver star and outer rim, the button it'self sits flush with the device with the star protruding. Below is the large 1.3" colour screen and further down still the nice sized square - and + buttons, the navigational buttons are spaced nicely. Finally central bottom we have the micro USB port, the top of the front of the device see's a Silver striped design which i like but the etched star designs on some of the colours possibly look better. The back of the device see's "CAPT'N" printed at the top in Silver and also in Silver branding and safety stamps at the bottom, again we have a Silver striped design. Apart from 3 Silver stripes at he top of each side and the vaptio logo down one side both sides are quite featureless with the bottom of the device having some grooves to get your fingernails into to help open the battery door. The top of the device see's a 510 plate with star design brought forward towards the front of the device, the Gold plated 510 is spring loaded and is designed not to let liquid from a leaking tank into the device.

Paragon Overview
The Paragon tank is a nice looking and very well machined sub-ohm tank that with the Bubble glass (standard version) as an impressive 8ml capacity, the EU version of course comes fitted with a 2ml glass and the kit also includes a 4ml straight glass. The Paragon has dual cyclops with stopper and gives a ton of air, you get 2 coils included which are a pre-installed 0.2ohm mesh coil and a 0.15ohm strip coil. The mesh coil is rated between 40w and 90w with a best between 60w and 80w, the strip coil is rated between 40w and 100w with a best between 80w and 90w. I used the mesh coil with the Capt'n as i just am loving the sub-ohm mesh coils that are coming out with tanks of late, i have used strip coils a few times and i find they match the mesh for flavour but the vape is too warm for me. I can get the same flavour, but cooler vape at 20w lower with a mesh coil compared to strip coils (at least that has been my experience). The Paragon is top-fill via the top-cap unscrewing from the tank (very good threading), once off 2 large filling ports are revealed. The filling ports have a silicone membrane that keeps the tank sealed so to fill you have to push the nozzle of your bottle past the membrane, displacing it, once filled and you have removed your nozzle the membrane reseals the tank. The membrane doesn't just add an extra seal but means the inside of the tank is barely exposed to the air during filling helping with the vacuum and preventing the leaking you can get after filling. The only con for me with the Paragon is that it comes with a proprietary drip tip so you have to use the one that comes with the tank, luckily it is comfortable so not a major issue.
