As the title says, im looking into building a 3s lipo mod with some type of vw chip up to 100w with a minimum of 20amp output and can have a max of 25amps as i dont plan to be going crazy with low ohm builds, its more for the battery life.

Ive seen the dna 200 chip on stealthvape that goes to 200w and is 3s compatible but was looking for something more basic ie without the usb lipo charger, firmware upgradeable etc.

If anyone can recomend a basic chip that meets my criteria that would be great. Ill also add i spent 3 years studying electrical diagnostics alongside a mechanics course just so u all no i have a good understanding of electrics and the safett required when dealin with them.

The only chip I know of that uses a 3s Lipo is the DNA200. You don't have to use all of it's features, but they are nice to have in case sometime in the future you want TC, more power, etc. The 1 year warranty is also nice and the fact that they honor it without a hassle is great. Since I'm in the USA, them being here is also a big plus imo.

Cheers,
Steve

SX-350 or SX350MINI.

It will be 100 watts with the SX-350 and quite a bit higher with the SX350Mini. Closer to 150 watts.

The OP wants a chip he can run off a 3s Lipo (11.1v nominal). I'm almost 100% positive the SX-350J can't run off of 11.1v (too high of an input voltage). My understanding is the SX-350J can run off input voltages between 3.7-7.4v (nominal).

Edit: I looked it up on Yihi's site and according to them the SX350 has an input voltage range of 3.2-4.5v
The SX350J has an input voltage range of 3.2-9.0v

The SX350 attains 100 watts using a series battery, I have a mod that has 2 batts in series. The same for the sxmini, 150 watts using 2 batteries. The DNA 200 is an option as is the 200W Joyetech board in the 3 cell configuration.
