Velocity v2 vs tsunami

Hi everyone. I'm very close to buying a dripbox 160 and I wanted to pick up a bottom feed rda. It only takes 22mm rda and I hear great reviews on the velocity v2 clones(because I'm poor).
I have a tsunami(authentic) and I'm not at all impressed with the flavor-love the. Clouds but I want to taste my juice.
Will I notice a difference in flavor with the v2 over the tsunami? Are there tastier options that still Chuck decent clouds and under 40 bucks?
Any input at all would be appreciated. Thanks!

dont know about the velocity
check on ebay for petri v2 clones
i have one and a tsunami
petri blows it away for flavor imho
you should be able to find the clone son ebay for about $15ish from a USA shipper

Velocity is extremely easy to build on, but with its cap I had no flavor whatsoever no matter what builds or wicking methods I used.

I got a Tobeco Velocity V2 clone & ordered the glass top from Fasttech https://www.fasttech.com/p/4708200 the glass top is in transit. Haven't used yet but on YouTube Geekay Vapes has a vid on a Velocity clone he got from Fasttech that came with the glass topper.

Sounds like a good combo. I'm not sure how well it'll hold up landscaping though. I might bite the bullet and order it anyway though and see what happens.

That's what I'm using on my Dripbox 160. I got a Velocity V2 clone from FT and it came with an additional glass barrel, I like it quite a bit. I got a white one to match the mod, but the SS one would match the glass barrelled Velocity better.

does the glass get hotter than the drip tip that came with it?

It doesn't get hot at all, it dissipates heat very quickly, I like the flavor better too. It's definitely not pocket friendly as the glass will break on you, but for me it's an at-home set up and I can always change it out. It's a good deal for less than $10 https://www.fasttech.com/p/4491600
They do have other colors as well.

The only issue I had was that the o-rings it came with were a little too thin and the glass barrel was too loose. I replaced them with some other o-rings I had and it fits perfect now.

thats why i am looking at the Trinity Glass Caps....they are really thick, tough glass, so "theoretically" you can even drop them and they wont break

Ordered the cheap glass cap from Fasttech, but think I will end up ordering Trinity glass cap, just because it's tougher and looks dead sexah

Can anyone tell me where i can buy the original coil the came installed on the dripbox 160 i dont need the replacments because you cant rebuild on those i need the one the came on the dripbox thanks...
