Word recently surfaced that Shriek will be among the Spider-Man villains featured in Venom 2, and now Sony may have found an actress to fill the role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Naomie Harris is in talks to play Shriek in the sequel.
Harris is a veteran of franchises like 28 Days Later, Pirates of the Caribbean, and James Bond and received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her role in 2016's Moonlight. If she joins the cast, Harris will play one of at least two major villains in Venom 2, alongside Woody Harrelson's Carnage.
