Rotten Tomatoes has revealed the aggregated score for the new Venom film.
The newest in Sony's run of comic-based movies did not fare well on the Tomatometer, currently only scoring a measly 28%, though this, of course, could change as more reviews come in.
This rotten score averages out at 4.4 out of 10 across the 109 reviews currently counted and sits pretty well in line with our review.
When it comes to not so well received super-hero movies Venom shares it's Rotten Tomatoes score with 2016's Suicide Squad which also puts it just one point ahead of Batman v Superman from the same year.
There's a big gap between these and films from Disney's MCU offerings. Most recently, Ant-Man and the Wasp debuted at 89% and has only dropped 1 point since.
