Vent holes in box bods

So mods that take external batteries seem to have vent holes of one kind or other. But my Innokin MVP 3 Pro (which has an integrated battery) has no vent holes on its outer shell. I'm wondering if this is a safety issue. What would happen in the event that its integrated battery somehow failed?

I'm guessing there's a logical reason for this, so apologies in advance if dumb question!

I could be wrong here, but my understanding is that charging ports allow the same air flow that an external battery mod has

If your mod has a LiPo battery, I would worry only if you drop it real hard. Due to my other hobby, flying Collective Pitch R/C Helicopter, I heard of birds going up in flames after a crash.

Everything I've seen on it says that if the battery vents it will vent around the charge port.

Thanks guys, my question's answered. I've had a look inside the USB charge hole and it seems to have a few holes leading to the battery.

Glad to hear it, but I hope you never have to actually find out!
