Veritas Builds

Hey everyone! I just picked up a Veritas the other day. I do have to say that I am loving it! I'm all about flavor over clouds so I've been vaping on the Veritas and the Lemo. What different style builds are you Veritas owners vaping? So far I've just been using a single coil horizontal build, 24g, 35-40 watts. Getting ready to try out a single, parallel, vertical coil (saw it on youtube). I know there is so many different types of builds out there. What are you running to get the most flavor?

Ive tried a few different builds with the veritas, and what i like most is a 7 wrap of of 24g vertical single with a 3mm i.d. (mine is also drilled out a touch) Flavor is top notch in my experience

Have you tried a single parallel build? I'm getting ready to try one out. I have a little 26 and some 24 gauge. Hoping to get around .5 ohms. I'm having a brain fart at the moment and can't figure out about how many wraps with whichever gauge I use. I try to use steam-engine.com to help me get close to what I want.

That i have not. Ive never paralled, i ran duals (too hot for me). Id probably use the 26g imo just so you wont have to run a shit ton of wraps

That's a link to the vid I was talking about. His technique he uses doesn't look too difficult so I'm gonna try it out. He does 24g with 7 wraps for .3 ohms. A little too hot for me... Not sure how many wraps for 26g I should do?

My first build on my Veritas.
it's rough and leggy as hell, but works nicely for it's purpose.

I've since squeezed that errant coil together..don't freak out. ;-)

It's 1.7 ohms and is used on my SVD. A nice match, methinks.

steam engine its showing around 7 wraps, with a 3mm i.d. so id probably start from there

See I think I confuse myself when it comes to trying to figure out a parallel coil on steam engine...? Since they don't just have a single or dual parallel option, or maybe I'm over looking it. I figured I would put my info in for a dual coil and do half the wraps that it says if I'm trying to do a single parallel.....and oh, no! I've gone cross-eyed! lol

Lol i know what you mean, i put it in as duals. If anything it should be a little higher than .5 since theres gonna be space between wraps (even though the space is being filled by another wire)

I haven't tried this yet, but likely will next build. Dead simple stuff from Faceless himself.

Yeah I thought about that one too. I wish the video wasn't quite so fast lol. Some close ups would have been nice but oh well. He makes it look simple. I do alright wrapping parallels that's why I went with the other. The hard part is getting all the leads fastened down

Not bad for a first time build on it, could look a little nicer but it works. Next time I need to wrap around the 2.4mm screwdriver and get it farther away from the air hole. Draw is a little tight because of it but the flavor is still there. Straight through the coil into the cotton soaked goodness of Grandma's Sweet Rolls by Heady Juice!!! Mmmmm mmmmm

Oh man, no bueno! I enjoy just a little restriction on mine. LIke I said though I wish I would have pulled it further away from the airflow. Other than that she's hitting like a champ! Flavor is amazing! Probably just as good as the single horizontal coil that Rip Trippers had in his video. But I think I did 7 wraps and it came out to .4 ohms. Got her on the Sigelei 150W and running it about 40 watts.

Actually I turned it down to 30. Still a warm vape but a lot more flavor! Pretty good build
