Very simple wicking question.

I've been enjoying my goon with a single coil build. I use a little more cotton than I do on a double coil build. Anyway, that still leaves one side of the deck empty and I just fill it up. Works fine, except sometimes if I'm not paying attention I'll tip the mod and dump out some fluid.

I was thinking about just putting a bit of cotton in the unused side of the deck. I guess it will lower the overall capacity which sucks because I need as much as possible if I'm going to take the rda with me on short trips to the store or whatever. Anyone else do this, or is there another solution perhaps?

You can use more cotton or find something inert to fill the side with , plastic , ceramic , or use on a Squounker mod so dont have to drip ,

Heh yeah a squonker mod definitely occurred to me. I'm gonna buy one asap. I've been looking at the Frankenskull and Boxer clones. Anyone know if they are any good, or have a suggestion on something else?

In all honesty get a Coppervape bf mod , its solid built milled out of aluminium block , you can buy Spares kit for 2.50$ and mod should last a lifetime , tbh , its in my profile pic

I agree - the Frankie is not a good beginner squonk and is not well built - mine is strictly for play

Here a lot of grumbling about problems with the Boxer clone, though I do not actually own one

What about the Wraith? It's on sale atm (https://ecig-city.com/search?q=wraith). Picked one up for the wife and I'm going to be throwing on a Hadaly clone on there for her.

I bought a tank for out and about and leave the RDA at home. Squonking has got to be the next best thing. Specially considering how much I'm enjoying my goon atm.

Wraith looks good. Only thing I don't get is why they would put a 5ml bottle in there. I can see that I use less juice with the goon, but the point of squonking for me is to alleviate the hassle of dripping while retaining the benefits of an rda. I guess I could live with 5ml fill ups, but I'd definitely prefer more.

Edit- oh I just realized the Wraith is regulated... Interesting...

Also, that's an error - bottle is way more the 5 ml. I haven't measured, but it's over 10 for certain.
They may have meant 15...

They are worth $30 - if you understand it is not going to last several years

You have to remove the padding deep inside where the positive of the battery sits or the door gradually becomes loose. And the frame the holds the door starts to become unglued from the body even with that.

I have three of them and that is what happened on two of them

The third was sold with full disclosure about the future door issue

My wife and I don't do mech mods. We prefer the consistency of regulated mods. It's should be here soon, dunno how long the sale is? But I will be able to confirm bottle size when it gets here. Still, I don't see you vaping more than 5 ml on a short trip to the store. Now, if you were out shopping with the wife... 5ml is pushing it lol.

They are 10 ml bottles, but hold about 9.5 after saving room for displacement for the tube that runs down the bottle

Huh. For something so important you'd think they'd get it right.

I go out all the time for a few hours. I think I could live with 10ml.
