Vg not giving no flavour??

Hi guys im kinda stuck here on my juice im mixing up!
Ok so iv mixed a batch of juice up yesterday and the ones people say you can shake and vape im not getting little flavour to none! Im mixing at 70vg 30pg and the main ones what i cant taste is strawberry and banana.
I warmed them up after making them and giving a good shake and left over night iv done well over the percentage what others use iv seen people use flavour arts strawberry at 2% with good results? Iv done strawberry At 10% is this because im using a high vg and they need a good steep? Or does it no make a difference? Help plz lol this is driving me crazy now
Iv not muted the flavour by using to much i know as iv tryed 2% iv tryed 5%

This is what im hoping they need steeping cuz vg takes longer to take the flavours in,
But im also concerned that cuz of the high vg you loose alot of flavour but i also see people saying on forums that vg doesn't change there flavours i hope steeping is the case cuz im gona give up on this very soon

What is your vaping setup? Where did you get the flavors? You should not go over 5% with any fa flavors. 3 % should give you good flavor on most. You get a little better flavor with pg but I use max vg with no probs and lots of flavor. Have you tried anyone elses recipes.? Try some of @HeadInClouds. They are wonderful.

Yeah used fresh wick flavours smell realllly good wven smelling into the ones iv made smells good just not on the vape?

Nope. Only do that if it tastes perfumy or chemically or if your flavoring has alcohol in it. Fa does not. I would by some other flavoring from a diff vendor. Mamajs, bullcityvapor and eciggexpess are all good.

First question is have you tried to mix them each at single flavors? Try it at 60 vg / 40 PG. That should tell you if your flavors are ok. I suggest 2 -3 percent of each flavor by themselves. The tingle could be too much flavor as it does raise the PG percentage or if you have added nicotine to it. Some nicotine will provide degrees of throat hit depending on the nicotine brand / quality

No havent tryed mixed that ratio as i would like to get it rite with 70/30 the pg and nic level is the same as what i use before the throat tingle on exhale has aririved with the high percentage of the flavouring bearing in mind the ratio of the vg pg and nic has been the same everytime as its a new batch and like i said 3% i just dint taste a thing and neither did my girlfriend and she dont smoke :/ maybe i should of left it abit longer to steep

I still have a bottle on my desk containing one of the very first mixes I tried: FA Strawberry in VG, no added PG.

Added another 30ml of VG to reduce it to 2.5% (1.5ml flavoring, 58.5ml VG), and it is still too strong.

Im thinking of halfing the strawberry and bringing it down to 5% and half the banana bring that to 7% and just leave them for a week maybe that will fix it?

Then tryed them and flavour of strawberry is more muted at 10% then it is at 8% so maybe bringing it down to 5% and giving it a good steep will fix it hopefully, the banana at 14% is really stinging the throat so maybe it being to high can corse this? Ry4 nutzilla at 10% has good taste even with no steep but again that has a sting on the throat so maybe thats to high?

I will try water with it it's definitely mixed well now though iv put them in hot water for an hour then iv put it on my mixer for 5 mins spinning round and that should of done the trick ry4 nutzilla at 10% tast lovlely but it stings the throat badly so guess il double that to get 5% and then steep it

Careful with water , could cause bacteria issue / silt , if you got to use water at least use distilled ! I do not steep with caps off ! You can take off caps to let your mix breath fresh air but not for long periods of time ! Steeping very critical !

Sometimes hitting with too much heat kills fruit flavors. Also with any fruity mixes try adding 1% Apple Cider Vinegar to the mix. It helps to meld the flavors better and bring out the fruit.

If my math is correct you have 49% flavor ??? Why so much ? Try 20 % to 30 % max flavor . I'm not sure how much PG FA uses for carrier But you have a lot of PG in most Flavors and @ 49 % flavor I would say you have maybe 40 % PG already in your flavors plus the other 30% PG . I count maybe 70 % PG and 70 % VG which would mean your PG /VG ratio is somewhere around 50 / 50 ,possible more PG than VG . Now that I have you even more confused I will stop !

No I definitely dont have 49% flavour in any mixes i have ever done lol

I've been adding Apple Cider Vinegar to all my sweet mixes and regular distilled vinegar to all my savory/tobacco flavors for years with no ill effects. There a several vendors who also mix with it. As for any studies in safety for vaping, I don't think any exist. In such tiny percentages I highly doubt it is any worse than any of the other ingredients in our flavorings.

I just love to break out the Beakers, & desk scale, eye droppers & shit, And make juice. I may buy a White Lab coat someday. If it ain't right, I just shoot another 20 drops in it. Only make about 50 ml @ a time, but several flavors.

Heat VG to over 140 and it will thin down like PG, just do it without flavorings and let it return to room temperature before mixing.
