So I procured a vicious ant variant (unsure if authentic at this point), without a battery. I took a chance on it, and for what I have in it, I couldnt pass it up.
Anyway, I got home and rigged up a couple 18650s in series and hooked it up. It powers up, but says check Atty. I swapped out a few different rdas to no avail. I pulled it apart and the 510 connections all seem good. Wires to board, wires to 510. Put a meter on the 510, I have good continuity from the outside of the 510 to the board. The spring loaded center pin is functioning well (being springy and all), and I know that at least one of the tanks I put on it is a .3 ohm build. No matter what happens, i still get the flashing red light when triggering the fire button. I'm lost.
As of now my next steps are to try to reflow the solder, see if it works out. If not, desolder the fire button and the 510, and check the board. Hopefully it will just be a bad place I can solder a jumper in place of.
What else should I be looking for? I hope I feel stupid and its simple!
