It's pod time,the VMATE i2 which was sent to me by my Friends over at Voopoo for the purposes of this review.
Well lets get the party started,some visual aids to get us started and that will give you a glance of the type of device i will be talking about.
Unboxing and first impressions:
If you owned any products from Voopoo you gotta know what type of packaging you're getting.
All well packed and tucked away in the box,right away i notice there is not a 2nd cartridge just the pre-installed,now Voopoo we talked about this.
Add a buck more and give us an extra cartridge,that has to be the industry standard...some might be new vapers so yeah an extra cartridge is a must.
Holding the VMATE i2 in the hand and yeah you can tell some time went into the design,very sleek looking and very lightweight.
Don't get me wrong it a light pod but i thought it would feel heavier due to the big upgrade in battery size,previous version had a 900mah battery but this one has a 1500mah which is pretty good for just a pod.
Vaping time:
Ok since it only comes with one coil i will just have this one to try out,its a 0.7ohm coil in a 3ml cartridge.
No magnets this time but a click when you insert the cartridge and its locked in,held the pod from the cartridge and felt no give whatsoever,that sucker these is lock and loaded and ready to be vaped.
Battery wise you got a LED on the side that will go up or down on length depending on your battery level,although a simple combination of 3 colors is what people expect the most.
Kinda hard to tell how much exactly battery i had left but meh this is a pod,supposed to be simple and to the point.
Cartridges have some inlaid design on both sides that have some ridges,those are so you can remove the cartridge without your fingers slipping.
These new cartridges promise leak free whopping 30 days and e-liquid wise 90'ls of life on the coil baby!!
Well hard to say 90 days exactly,depends a lot on your e-liquid,the e-liquids that are very sweet do tend to gunk up the coils.
These new cartridges work with all VMATE POD Family products.
Filling the cartridge easy peasy,rubber tab thingy located on the side,put some e-liquid in and after 10 minutes i was ready to give it a go.
Flavor wise i get that like right away,very nice hit and some proper cloud production.
Yeah i already told you folks before,coil wise and device wise you cannot go wrong with Voopoo,small pod but it sure delivers.
Auto draw without delay and even when i chained vape i was getting no dry hit like at all.
PROS:
-Its Voopoo,good coils good devices
-Aesthetically pleasing
-Very good battery size
-Good build quality
CONS:
-Only con is that they only give you the one cartridge...not cool Voopoo
Would i recommend this device:
If you're a pod user and you need something simple then this is it.
Maybe you got a friend or family member that wants to quit smoking,no problem...just gift them one of these and fill them up with e-liquid and ready to go.
