I just came from another forum that turned extremely toxic. Thought this place looked a lot more friendly.

I have been using VT's throat hit nic for a few orders now. I recently just received a new bottle as I have been running low.

I mixed up 500ml 60\40vg at 6nic and mixed a few of my favorite flavors in.. The taste is absolutely terrible.

It is like I mixed in tobasco\pepper and is completely worthless.

I have never had this problem in the past.. Is the nic to fresh? Too old? Oxidized?


I searched a bit but in 3 pages I only found random references to some nic being slightly peppery, so I thought I would ask.

i would contact VT directly they are usually really good with helping out
I have both their regular and TH nic and never had a peppery taste

You should try eliminating the issue and make sure its the nic.
mix up some vg/pg base with just a simple flavor you know well NO NIC
and see if the peppery taste is gone

When I vape the flavors without nic they taste fantastic as with the last bottle. I am still using the same PG\VG as the last bottle of nic too. It is definitely the nic.

I emailed them and they said it was because it is the throat nic and not their top nic. I think I just got a bad bottle since all the other ones of the same product were pretty decent.

I guess I will stay on them and in the meantime order from somewhere else. Any suggestions on reasonably priced nic? Ive only used Nude and VT.

I've always ordered their TH nic and never had a peppery taste, but a friend of mine did get a bottle of premium nic that she thought wasn't as good as the norm and they did work with her on that. Hopefully, they'll stay with ya on it.

I grabbed a 500ml from liquid barn and some from chemnic and ill give them a shot.

VT started out just telling me thats how the product was.. Then all of a sudden completely about faced and said they are sending me a new bottle o_O

Oh well hopefully one of these is solid.. I mix for like 12 people and am running so low I have been running straight PG\VG only for myself to spread it out.

oh have no doubt once in a while we get those wars, but the fanboyism here is not like other places, plus the mods here are usually pretty damn awesome.

Chemnovatic nic is great, but its never consistent. Usually comes from India and the UK.

also part of the reason for the turn around on their part, may be your post here. the owner of VT is a member here and monitors discussions of his company. And the fact you took the time to post the way you did, may have differentiated you from someone who is clueless or trying to get something for nothing and someone who actually got a bad bottle of nic. Hate to say it but businesses are constantly being ripped off so they are often hesitant to just accept everything a customer says as gospel. But glad its all working out for you
