Ok, I've really just got started into vaping and want to get a start on building. What's a good deck to start with? Would like a heavy duty, large platform to get started with.
I know you guys won't steer me wrong!

Dripper or Tank? For a dripper, the Velocity is the easiest to build on. For a tank, look at the Griffin.

I was just going to ask him that with a few added questions like 22 or 25mm tank and single or dual coil.

Cheers,
Steve

The Mason RDA comes in 24, 30, and 40mm versions. I have a 24 and the thing is a beast with 4 alien coils in it. Need a box that can handle it like the Hammer of God 4 parallel cell 18650.

I've been looking at the Griffin and think it would make a great choice for my first rta too. Just want to see if there's anything out there that I'm not aware of. I am a newbie, lol.

Get the new 25mm Griffin, or the older style with top airflow option. I have one of each. Both are excellent cloud and flavor machines, but the wicking is all important on them as it is with any RTA.

Sounds like the way to go. Like I said read many great reviews on it. Saw a couple good building kits out there, is there one that's better than the others? Or is it a opinion kind of thing?

For 25mm tanks there are a few new ones that just came out. The Boreas and Aromamizer Supreme that both look great.

If you wanted a single coil tank in the 22mm size there are the Sepent and Bachelor tanks available, I personally use the Billow V2 and UD Bellus but both have smaller build decks than the Griffin (I have the Billow V3 on order as well - all dual coil tanks). Lots of choices, best to read some threads and look at a few YouTube reviews once you narrow it down to a few models.

Here's a comparison video between the two 25mm tanks I mentioned.

Cheers,
Steve

I've only had a couple rdas but I love my twisted messes. Great airflow and the post holes accommodate everything I build. Currently running dual fused captions that I built using 26 and 34 ga.

For a 25mm RTA the Boreas is dead simple to build, velocity style deck, easy to wick, wicks just like a RDA. Probably very similar to the Supreme in terms of building simplicity, just has a slightly larger deck, holds slightly more juice, and has more airflow. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Buddha. It's very big, but if you can put up with it, it does very well.

For and rda I'd get the tobeco velocity clone which is only about $20-$30 depending where you buy it.you can't go wrong with a velocity. The authentic is over $100 and hard to find but the tobeco is just as good. For an rta that's harder to say the griffin is great but you have to wick correctly. The aromamizer supreme is really nice so far I just got it today so I'm still evaluating and the boreas is very similar but cheaper. The mutank is also really nice and the cheapest but also has to be wicked correctly or it will leak. If I were new to building I'd probably choose the griffin it's got a lot of space to build and experiment with different kinds of coils and there's plenty of tutorials on wicking. If you are going to buy 2 atomizers I'd buy 1 rda and 1 tank they provide different kinds of Vape and sometimes I like to use a rda and sometimes I like using a tank. As far as building kits I really don't know I bought all my tools seperatly but the coil master kits look nice. I buy my wire from Lightning vapes. And my cotton on Amazon. There's a lot of tanks coming out lately and most of them are good so it's hard to say what tank is best. Like I said though before definatly the velocity and griffin would be great to start with.
