Wattage range to use?

So, I just got a Serpent Mini. I'm using the coils that came with it first. They are .6 Ohm. I have installed the coil and made sure it is tight and heating evenly. (I've watched a lot of videos). I've wicked it using some of that cotton bacon stuff. (I will get better wire and cotton later). It is wicking well and vaping well. No dry hits.

Now, the question. I started at 13 watts on my Istick TC40W. I've gone up in .5 increments. I'm now at 21 watts and it seems to be doing well. But, unlike factory coils, I don't know what wattage range this set up is best used at. Any range you folks would recommend keeping this within?

BTW, there is no info saying what this coil is made of. It is 6 turns and looks like the same size as some 26 guage I have. Looking on Steam Engine I think it would be Kanthal. But, not sure.

Thanks,
Chris

Odds are it is Kanthal coils that came with your Serpent. The watts you use is up to you and your juice. Some can take the heat, some can't. Just the nature of the beast. Keep playing with your adjustments, when it starts tasting bad then back off and you have found the sweet spot for that coil and juice for you.
