Time jumps, ice cream comes, weird money and decomposing corpses... these were all just small components of another Wayward Pines episode as the series continued its run on Wednesday night. Following up on last week's premiere, which set up the town's melodramatic tone and introduced us to the cast of characters, this week's episode laid down the groundwork of how life in Wayward Pines actually functions.
As the episode title suggests, there's no talking about the past, or your life before. Then there's the no leaving, which anyone could have surmised from the gigantic electric fence surrounding the entire town. Capping it all off is the "always answer the phone" rule, which made no real sense until the terrifying final few moments, in which we all realized no one has a landline anymore. Except the residents of Wayward Pines -- not only do they have landlines, but they also have a huge bloodlust to publicly execute anyone who doesn't abide by those rules.
