There's going to be a lot more ice cream in the town of Wayward Pines in the near future, now that the Fox series has officially said goodbye to one of the creepiest residents of all: Sheriff Pope. And just when we were really digging his new hat, too. Knowing that portrayer Terrence Howard was busy with another Fox series, Empire, we weren't completely shocked by his demise. He was becoming increasingly violent and frustrated towards Burke and his family, and so it was becoming a case of him or them. But if you're going to go down in style, getting smacked by a truck and then shot is probably as epic a way to go as any. And it opens up a whole new set of mysteries for Ethan to explore as he continues trying to claw his way out of the creepy town.
