I moved your post to our 'Trading Post" area. This is where people buy, sell and/or trade things that are vape related. If you have something specific in mind that you're looking for, then let others know what that might be. If you're not sure of what you might be looking for, maybe cruise around the forum and see what others are using (and liking) that might fit your needs.
I use an iStick 20 watt, an MVP 2.0, some eGo batteries and I have a Provari that my boyfriend has decided to use for now. None of my items are for sale, just examples of things people use. There are other more powerful devices available, as well, but I'm happy with the simple set ups that I have.
I would suggest narrowing your search down, at least a little. Saying you want to buy old equipment w/o any "filters" covers a LOT of territory! Maybe take a look HERE to start with.
FWIW I started with a Kanger EVOD battery and atomizer (I still use it when I'm driving), cost was <$20.00 including some juice. There are other more powerful "starter" setups as well. But truth be told, a starter setup is nothing more than what YOU choose to begin with, and that could be a lot more advanced than an EVOD- just be sure of what you want before buying an expensive device. I got my EVOD from a local B&M- they were able to answer questions, too- so if there's one in your area you might want to give them a visit.

Well, we all had to start somewhere, and were in your shoes. If I had to do it all over again, I'd still start with a tank style atomizer (aka "atty") that used a replaceable "head". The Kanger Protank 2 comes to mind, there are other good alternatives as well. I wouldn't recommend starting with one of the recently-introduced "subohm" tanks, at least not unless/until you thoroughly understand the relationship between the battery and the atty resistance- battery safety cannot be overstressed!!
Evod kit is what i started on..it wasnt untill that set up that i quit smoking for good..Alot better "starter" set ups however you can get now a days...But if youre on an extreme budget and just want to try it out to see if it will work for you, i recommend the evod and a quality e juice with the proper nicotine content to get you started.

You may want two batteries as once one goes dead youll smoke possibly if you dont have another one to use while the first one charges...i never needed more than 2 batteries within a day...just charge one while using one and then swap over and over again.

I have a sigelie 30 watt mod in blue that I don't use and an IPV 2 mini 70 watt in pink, if you are still looking. I have some tanks too. A couple Aspire nautilus mini's and an atlantis v1.
Well im looking at a nice and i mean nice starter kit for a friend its the new subox mini from kanger tech for what i have learn in the past this kit can do just about anything u want and its a goood deal not just 5w to 15w coil but another coil 5 to 50w but not just that u also get a rbt if that how u say it maybe its rta not sure but u can rebuild your coils tank and it looks sexy as hell look it up go to youtube and look at the review on the subox mini make your choice
