I don't quite get all of this, though I don't think it's serious. I did notice, after @2WhiteWolves reported on her kittehs' ear mites, how this pup seemed to go ecstatic when the "spa technician" dug in his ears with a gloved finger.

We had to clean out our dog's ears. Drip in some cleanser formulated for dog ears, then wipe her ears out with cotton balls.
Well, a laugh because I have to do that to my own ears. I put in some glycerin a couple of hours before showering, then let the shower spray slam into my ear and force everything out.
TMI, I'm sure. Not often, but to every ear comes a time.
