So today, technically yesterday, I got my iSub Apex's new .5 ohm claptons and a freebie bottle of Hawk Sauce 50/50 (yum!) from Mount Baker. I have noticed that now I am getting a lot of juice/liquid in my mouth. Do y'all think its because it is a thinner juice? I'm used to higher or max level of vg. Everything is seated and tightened appropriately so I'm just a little confused as to why the juicy mouth. If its normal for claptons to spit back juice I'll be fine but if its not, I wanna know.

That's been my experience....usually 70VG+ eliminates the spitback.

I vape many 50:50 liquid and found that if I "prime" the coil with too much liquid there will be spitback but that will be gone after half a tank or so.

Try using higher vg juice and see if you still get spitback.

I'm waiting for my order from Verde Valley to come Monday, Then I will try the higher vg... All my juice right now has way too much nic in it to try subohming.... Can we please skip Sunday.

I always vape very thin juice, since I have to vape 85% PG... I use the angled adapter or knucklehead driptips to avoid hot pops in the mouth, which I ALWAYS get from RDAs.

I find that in general, building vertical coils really helps with spitback, since then the juice shooting from the coil hits the sides of the atty, instead the top.

I've found that turning up the wattage a little also helps reduce the spitback. There is a fine line though of just how much higher to go, too high and it will burn the juice/wick.

Thanks for your replies everyone! I got my V3 order today and I got the 80vg. It stopped the spit back.
