With this 20% sale over at ECigExpress I figured now is my chance to try out FA. I've been going thru recipes here and choosing flavors based off those. So far I have the following in my cart....Apple Pie, Catalan Cream, Chocolate, Cocoa, Cookie and Fuji Apple.

So, what are your must-haves from FA?!?

(this isn't as many as it looks - lots are listed in multiple places)

If you like coffee vapes, start with Coffee Espresso, Fresh Cream, and Tiramisu.

If you like fresh fruit flavors, you'll like most of FA's. The standouts for matching real fresh fruit flavor best, IMO: White Peach, Strawberry, Papaya, Blackcurrant... If you get any fruits at all, get Lemon Sicily, the flavor of limoncello liqueur and generally great for mixing with fruits.

If you like fruits sweet, pick up Custard, Fresh Cream, Marshmallow, Pear, and Meringue Nonna Cake. Consider Cardamom and Anise while you're at it!

If you like sweet-and-creamy flavors, Vienna Cream and Custard are two you'll need. If you like Bailey's, add Irish Cream to the list. Fresh Cream and Catalan Cream should already be in your cart, lol!

If you use vanilla for mixing or standalone, FA's three vanillas are essential (okay, I'll admit Vanilla Tahiti is less essential than Classic and Bourbon). Each has different uses. For a sweet-creamy bakery vanilla flavor, don't miss Nonna Cake!

If you like bakery flavors, you need Apple Pie (rich crust for mixing) and Cookie. Add Tiramisu only if you like coffee/chocolate, Vienna Cream for vanilla fans, and Joy for the pastry flavor (especially if you're willing to do more complex mixes)

If you want just one dark berry flavor, Forest Mix is the way to go. If you can get one more, Blackcurrant.

If you like nut flavors, Hazelnut or Nut Mix can't be beat for real nut flavor. But if you like nuts sweet, also get Marzipan.

If you like cocktails and alcohol, don't miss Brandy, (Irish) Whiskey, Gin, and Jamaican Rum.

If you like mints, Spearmint and Peppermint are exactly the flavors you expect them to be - no menthol surprises.

flavors only FA has and does a perfect job with: Torrone, Cardamom, Meringue (note 5/21/2015 recent batches have been subpar!), Marzipan, Mangosteen, Fresh Fig, Liquid Amber (to make fruits taste warmly fermented, like cider)

top flavors FA makes better than everyone else: Coffee Espresso, Fresh Cream, Cinnamon Ceylon, Cocoa, Coconut, Hazelnut, Licorice (for Aussie candy flavor), Black Tea, Tiramisu, Nonna Cake, Cola, Maple Syrup .. (this one could go on and one, but those are especially notable as the best IMO)

(I'll leave tobaccos to someone else)

Whatever you get, you'll be back for more!

Wow, great response. HIC why don't you save us all the headaches and tell us what to by from all the vendors. Better yet why don't you just start selling starter kits.

Do you know about my notes on flavorings (I think all FA so far) over here? http://vapingunderground.com/forums/diy-reviews-flavorings-nic-base-suppliers.393/ I have so many to add, just haven't gotten around to them all. I try to describe them objectively and leave my opinion out of it. I don't always succeed, lol, but most are more detailed than vendors' descriptions. Which ones you'll like....depends on what types of flavors you like to vape.

Why yes of course. I have them copy and pasted into my own notes for the flavors I own.:)

Try some Oba Oba. I've heard it called an Island tobacco and have seen listed as a sweet flavor. Very hard to say what it is. What ever it is it's fantastic and will mix extremely well with all sorts of flavors. Tuscan Reserve is real nice. Not a quite a cigarette, Not a quite a Cigar. Shade and Royal are unique and interesting too. Oba Oba up to 10% the others probably best for most people up to 5%.

Oh, I'm sorry! My opinion, as an ex-cig-smoker who doesn't care for strong cigars and who rarely enjoys food-like or candy-like tobaccos, is that Cuban Supreme and Toscano are FA's two best ready-to-go tobaccos. For the lightest cig-like flavors, 7 Leaves and MaxxBlend are ones I recommend.

As someone who likes to mix, Burley (neutral, brown tobacco and a perfect mixer) and Black Fire (for the smoke effect on exhale, if you use it lightly) are essential to me for most of my tobacco recipes, with an honorable mention to Oakwood.

@VH fan - I'm unable to PM you or respond to your PM...maybe you have me on ignore? I hope you find the info you need, and sorry for the delay!

Perfect , the two you recommend the most are the two i left out on my most recent order (kidding HIC) . Thanks for your feedback , you do an outstanding job and there is certainly no need to apologize for anything . Sounds like there's something wrong with the PM capability , thanks for mentioning it .

Hope you and your family have an enjoyable Holiday season and wishing you health and happiness in the coming year.
