The Conan the Barbarian franchise is returning to Marvel Comics in 2019. It's clear that one way Marvel plans on setting this latest incarnation of Conan apart from others is by having the Cimmerian warrior team up with the Avengers. Fans don't have to wait long to see that unlikely team-up, either. Conan will first cross paths with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in March's Avengers: No Road Home #6.
We can only assume this is the start of a larger trend. Marvel may well be working towards establishing the Conan franchise as a regular, influential piece of the Marvel Universe. Here's why we think this crossover could have significant implications.
