What do I do now?

Hi everyone! Just mixed one of Hic's recipe's, but discovered I am missing one ingredient. The recipe is Macaroon Bar. The missing flavour is FA Marzipan. Have had this mixed for a week, but unable to get Marzipan right now. Is there anything I can use to sub for that flavour. Dying to try the recipe.

Ohhh man, did you pick a good one to start with. @HeadInClouds would Almond sub in this one at all? Sweet enough?

I hope you get your hands on Marizpan soon! I've had this one in my daily rotation ever since it was originally posted. I never tire of this flavor. It's good fresh mixed and good later. Yummmm.

Thanks for the reply Huckleberried. I was so excited to try this one. I have been ordering FA flavors for several weeks, got confused I have so many now. After realizing I didn't have it, I made a hard copy of all the ones I have, so this doesn't happen again.

Got FA Torrone? It'll add some lemon-honey flavor, which I think would be fine in that recipe, and it's surely sweet enough. Use the same %.
FA Almond would be my next choice. It'll definitely give you milder results, but should still be very appealing. Use the same amount, but don't be afraid to add a little more if you use Almond.

Well, I decided to go with Almond, instead of Torrone. I used 1.5 ml. My tastebuds must be shot. Didn't get much taste from this one. Faint taste of coconut, and a bit of cranberry, nothing else. Will try again, once I get some Marzipan. Thanks for your help. At least, it is vapable.

Don't be too quick to blame your tastebuds. Are there any flavors you've tried by themselves (standalone, single flavor) that taste strong enough for you? Are you using nic? If nothing at all tastes strong enough, and you're using nic, try (any recipe at all) with no nic. If it's a problem, it'll mess up everything. Since you have FA Torrone, and it's pretty strong and tasty standalone, that'd be a good one to try (4% should be really strong almond). Are there vendor liquids that work for you in the same hardware you're using? I'm just trying to brainstorm ideas...

Thanks for reply. Will try Torrone, without nic. I am using aspire mini, with 30 w Istick, set at 8.4w. Haven't bought any vendor juices, in the last few months, but was able to taste most juices, when I did buy from vendors, just didn't like most of them. Don't use any PG. Just VG, flavor, 12% nic, and a few drops of distilled water. Have to finish my tank tonight, and will try the Torrone in the morning. Thanks Hick! Appreciate your help!

The only flavor in that one that I boost for myself is the cranberry. I just LOVE that flavor!! Have you been vaping a while? Asking, because if you're fairly new to vaping, then your taste buds might still be recovering.

Been vaping for a while Huckleberried. My 5 year anniversary is October1, of this year. I'm thinking I also like the cranberry, what I could taste of it. Going to do some taste testing without nic, like Hick suggested. A little worried about the nic, cause I have quite a bit of it stock piled, in my freezer!

Any reason for no PG ?
Cause that's where the flavor is hiding, unless you're a super taster.
Most vendor juice has more PG, but it's usually way over-flavored and over-sweetened.
Try adding some PG and drop the Distilled Water, (at least 70VG/30PG)(50/50 better yet).
Unless you're allergic to PG, there is no reason not to try it.
