Simple question... I bought the eLeaf iJust 2, right? It's not vv/vw device, not a mech either. What is this thing categorized as?? It's close to a mech, but has built in battery protection chip. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

That depends...does it output a regulated constant voltage, or does it output straight battery voltage like a mech would? If the former, it's a non variable regulated, if the later its an unregulated w/built in safety features

I remember looking at them. It's like the ego one or whatever it's called. It is pretty much an unregulated device with the built in safety features.

Just had a look at it online. It's not regulated and it's not a mechanical mod. I think there is no clear classification for this yet. The closest comparison I can think of is a mech mod with a vapesafe fuse in it that has a couple extra features.

I think that this is a good mod for someone looking into using a mech, but are wary of going unregulated.

*sigh* I went ahead and ordered one of these. The reviews(not just Rip's) have been really good. This would be a good out and about mod, with a different tank. And the tank it comes with reminds me a lot of the Herakles(parallel coils, compatible with other coils). The sad thing is I just got a mod in the mail, yesterday.

I think you'll like that tank. It's got a ton of capacity, pumps out clouds, and tastes pretty good.
