What if your 100 mg nicotine tested out to be 200 mg?

FREAK OUT!!! In my opinion, this is completely inexcusable, we trust our vendors for safety and accuracy when purchasing their products. Testing your nicotine is always a good idea, a means of looking out for yourself. But why should we have to?? If your pharmacist gives you a medication, do you go somewhere else and have it tested?
Nude Nicotine caused everyone a scare a few months back with "over-dosed nic" and even though I didn't have any of the batch in question, I haven't ordered from them since. My last nic from them was so peppery it was almost unvapeable. I won't spend my hard earned money like that, and I wouldn't expect anyone else to either.

Ok you do know that even doubled 100 mg nic is only 20% nicotine - right?

So is this a what if stir some shit up thread.....yea why the fuck would this be an ok mistake, Teresa stated what any other member would and you come back defensive like it's ok to make this mistake and shit happens, this is NOT ok to happen and this kind of SHIT will hurt people and make them sick or even worse. So yea you stirred some shit up..so if I went and got a pain med refill and they made them 20mg pain meds instead of 10mg this would be just 10 mg more and be well shit happens no big deal.....oh never mind.....fuck.

I truly did not start this thread to argue hun - really. Here is my answer - I would have mixed it down - then called and talked to where ever I bought it. For me it would have been an Oh wow I got twice as much nicotine so I can fix this moment, and of course people person that I am I would have felt compelled to let the place know they messed up. o_O I am almost positive that NO company would intentionally sell the wrong mg nicotine! Come on we both know that the vaping communities are ran by word of mouth - right??;)

But you need to remember most don't test and won't figure this out, doubling anything is bad depending on what it is. Sorry if I came off aggravated but as shitty as quality control is lately it's not so much people make mistakes they just don't give a shit anymore and it's running rampant in all lines of business. Ok I'm good carry on:)

All I was saying is this could have been a deadly mistake that some innocent soul would have to pay for. The vendors should be doing the testing, although I do agree that it's a good idea for us as consumers to do it on our own. For me, I would take it as a stroke of good fortune that I got twice what I paid for and use it as such. But when I think of the new DIYer that just got their first bottle of nicotine and couldn't wait to dive in and start mixing - it really makes me shudder...

Believe me I would be able to tell by smelling the nic which I do before mixing it - I have no nic test. Yes I too would hope no new to DIYer got any of that batch!! And I AM NOT DEFENDING NN I would be the same with any site/vendor - I am honest that way. ;)

I'd make sure it's well mixed, confirm with a different test, and contact the vendor with the details.
If the vendor didn't immediately notify customers, I'd post my tests everywhere, because I'd assume others had some from the same batch.
But absolutely I'd mix it down and use it; for me personally, I'd consider it a bonus.

Sorry I should have added what HeadInClouds said about writing in threads about it also. I would not want anyone to be hurt by this at all. I know of only 1 person who vapes 50 mg nicotine and surly 1 hit would have told him - I hope.

You have no nic test, yet you know it's 200 instead of 100? What?

Once I could forgive but a second instance would be problematic.

And I received one of those over-nic'ed bottles.

It would make me concerned from an overall QC perspective.
