Hope this is on the right thread. My apologies if it is not. I am using temp control mod Joyetech eVic VT. I am looking for a good tank to get. I am not a cloud chaser nor do I do rebuilds anymore. I am a flavor chaser and prefer throat hit. And, I like nickel coils. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sense Herakles or Uwell Crown. Flavor seems more intense on the Herakles, but vapor production better on Crown. Top fill on the Crown is nice also. Herakles Ni200 coils are cheap and readily available on Ebay.

Depends on vaping style and cost. The basic ones, the Atlantis and Kanger Subtank are a great place to start and have Nickel coils available everywhere. The Uwell crown is great, easy top fill, but the coils are a tad expensive. I won a Sense Cylone and have been using it for a month with SS coils. I like it over most sub tanks, it has a wide adjustment in airflow, plus the ability to adjust eliquid getting to the coil if you use thinner or thicker eliquid. Allows you to shut off the flow too while you refill from the top.

I know the Cyclone takes some knocks for the top fill system, like the Starre Pro and maybe the upcoming Herakles Plus.

Anything really tough to learn with this? Cyclones and their coils can be found at good prices now. Seems half love it and half cant get used to it.

I am tempted but want to be sure I know what I would be getting into. Fits my budget better than TFV4 and Sense might not have the QC issues seen with Smoktech?

The Cyclone tank just works, puts out a lot of vapor. It ain't small an dainty, but more of a 22mm gorilla in the fog. The top fill works fine IMHO. The SS coil heads are quite impressive, I'm running a .2 SS head at 90 watts on a SX350 atm. More vapor than some of my drippers wide open, but with great flavor.

Actually, I've never paid more than $9 shipped for a 4-pack:D (I'm biased - my favorite tank ever using the ss coils in power mode! And top fill all the way!)

What vendor are you using for those crown coils? I just bought a crown. The coil are 4 bucks a piece at the shop.

ecig.com has them at the moment for $5.99/pack! I've also found them at that price from code3vapor when they're on sale, which they are regularly. Even not on sale they're way less than $4/piece!

Thanks. I'll check em out. I have the istick 40 TC so the shop switched out the 0.5 coil for a 1.2. And it comes with a temp control coil, which I'll try once my 1.2 goes. I may try one .5 to see if it does well at 40 watts. I've seen varying reports on that.

I've also been seeing people say the crown coils last a long time, so I hope that's the case for me.

Not only did I look, I ended up spending g about $50.
I got a 4 pack of coils, and spent the rest on juice. Hope it's good. I gotta get my DIY juice technique down. LOL. I will say, though, I didn't spend over 10 for any 30 mls of juice. Fairly good deals at least.
