Hi people, I was just wondering if a normal tank could be took, and use a sub ohm coil, or are the sub ohm tanks built differently?
I have been watching lots of rebuild vids, so simple, next week im getting a dripper and a subtank mini. Theres even turorials for the nautilus, which are not meant to be rebuilt, and that is simple too.
To be Sub Ohm, it simply has to have a resistance lower than an Ohm. Now, there are differences in tank design, namely massive airflow, and large juice channels to wick efficiently.
For instance, I have Kayfuns for tanks, and the lack of airflow keeps the ideal resistance for me at 1.2, most people are in that range with Kayfuns. Some people do Sub Ohm with them, but between the lack of airflow, and possibility of melting the insulator on the deck, for me at least, it's not something I do.
So, you need plenty of airflow and good wicking to vape sub ohm in any tank. There are rebuildables that have the same features as the Sub Ohm tanks, and they can be built Sub Ohm. These new tanks allow you to take lung hits, rather than mouth to lung, too. They also can handle more power than something like a Kayfun. Hope that helps a bit and is accurate. I don't own any of these new tanks, but I've vaped an Atlantis. I've been in the market for one myself, I just can't decide which one, and next thing I know, a new revision of the tanks I'm looking at is released. I want a rebuildable deck and factory heads for my options, which leaves I believe leaves three at the moment which fit the bill.
