what other types of CE-4 models are out there besides the CE-4 Clearomizer ?

what other types of CE-4 models are out there besides the CE-4 Clearomizer ?

Because I asked for a CE-4 tank and the one they gave me had a thinner tip and different looking tip, and Im having all kinds of problems getting burnt hits that scorch my throat that NEVER happened with the NJOY tanks.

What should I avoid when buying a CE-4 tank that would be compatible with an NJOY pen battery?

Hi Alan, and welcome to the Vaping Underground.

I hope someone can help you. The CE4 clearomizers are now considered very old technology on a BB like this. Information moves quick here, the latest and greatest always being talked about.

If you are happy with the pen batts, and CE4, God love ya! Buy from a reputable store, the OEM if you like those.

If you think you would like much more battery life, more vapor, warmer or cooler vapor, there is some reading to do here.Let us know what you DO like and DON'T like about your current setup, and you will get a lot of suggestions for more modern, satisfying gear..

If you do like the style you're currently using, I might suggest you try a newer starter kit for under $30 USD. This kit looks well put together for the CE4/Evod style of vaping. You might also check out the reading in links below the kit's sale area. Eric at Discount Vapers is a really nice guy and fairly knowledgeable about vaping. He will not steer you in the wrong direction or knowingly sell you bad gear, his staff follow his lead. :)

Here are some other Ego style batteries. This is a listing of clearomizers, they are tanks which will fit most of the standard Ego batteries. I started out using these but progressed on to using a mech with swappable battery/ies and using bottom fed RDA & found better quality vaping, far more suitable to me. I'm not disparaging the CE4/Evod style. If someone enjoys that style, Great! :) It is no longer a style I find enjoyable is all I'm saying. Not sure of many CE4/Evod style of tanks what fit an Njoy type of battery, hence I suggested a minor upgrade to Ego style batteries. Hope I've helped.

Almost forgot, if you do like this style, the Ce4/Evod ... be sure to look at using the Pyrex glass tanks which enables you to use any flavor without cracking tanks. :) Polypropylene will indeed crack with citrus, menthol, spicy flavors ... found that out myself.

IMHO, the very first thing you should avoid when buying a CE-4 tank is BUYING A CE-4 TANK!

They were the latest and greatest when I first started vaping and they almost caused me to quit vaping because they were so bad.

Get something along the lines of a Subtank mini instead.

Wel I had CE3, 4, 5, 6 not 7 and 8 and a CE4 rebuildable. But once I found the protank, I quit doing CE anything. When I got the Nautilus for my wife. I wondered why I got the Protanks instead.

The CE4 was my first atty, it did its job with 24nic for the first month. I found replacing the head was the issue with so many different "models and styles" available at that time. I got lucky and had CE4's that I could replace the head so after my first bad experience of burn't, I researched and began to repair the coil wires so they were nice(there was real bad QC a few years ago in atty heads), dryburn the silica to clean, move the wicking to the side a bit to have some kinda new wicking so the head had a second and third life in the coil then went ahead with silica then ekowool to rebuild them. Soon after I discovered the protanks and all my CE4's got shelved. My wife still has co-workers that use the CE related attys and are happy with them.
