What should my first build be?

Going to get some RDA stuff in the mail tomorrow or Thursday from fasttech...

A Doge V2 clone, Some 26 gauge kanthal wire, some cotton, and the appropriate tools. It's 3-post. How many wraps around the screwdriver, so to speak? how much cotton?

As far as how many wraps...depends on what you want...great place to start is what type of mod are ya putting it on? And http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp As far as cotton there are some great videos on YouTube for proper wicking of an rda coil (s).

Well, since you've got the power... ...maybe a simple dual 26 micro at around .3? I personally prefer 24, myself, but that should still perform nicely. If you can rig up a parallel with that 3-post atty, then a dual parallel 26g macro at around .2 is pretty nice. Twisted is great, too.

With the cotton, use a minimal amount. Just enough to make contact with the insides of the coils. You shouldn't feel much resistance when pulling them through. Make them just long enough to touch the bottom of the deck.

If you want to make full use of that power, get some 24 and 22. I think you'll get better results with those, though 26g is certainly workable at high power levels.

Yeah, I was advised to start with 26..,. and indeed I built down to about 0.25. Could max it out around 75W.

as time goes, I'll consider some thicker wire for bigger builds.
