What strength nic base do you use?

I'm ready to buy some more nic but I also want to buy some of the diy or die recipe concentrates as well. Ecig express has nic base at only a maximum of 36mg as opposed to the 200mg that HiLlQ has. To save on shipping, I am considering on buying the lower mg base and concentrates from ecigexpress.

Is there much advabtage other that ease of measurement in using nic base at a lower strength such as steeping time, flavour?

What is the advantage of pg, vg, or pg/vg nic base (I want high vg - though I will stick ti the recommended pg/g ratiis for the diyordie recipe concentrates because I am a noob)?

It's VG/PG not PG/VG

High concentration nic takes less space then the same amount of nic in low concentration, so it's easier to ship and store.
Low concentration nic is safer to handle.

Once it's diluted and mixed into a juice it doesn't matter what concentration it originated from.

Once placed in the fridge or freezer, PG remains liquid while VG becomes viscous and hard to work with until it drops to room temp, so PG is easier to work with.

They also have 100mg which is what I've recently ordered, with free shipping:D.
I just put it in the freezer till I'm needing my next batch.
Then dilute/cut by 50% PG, or VG, and put it all into smaller bottles, 120ml, 240ml, etc.
They all go back in the freezer except for 2x 30ml bottles for mixing with.

Because shipping charges are by weight, it costs the same for shipping 1L of 38mg, as 100mg.
So it's more cost effective I think, although the higher strength does cost a little more.
Prefer using PG/NIC base myself as it's easier to mix the NIC in better, and easier to work with.
If only using 2-3% NIC like I do, it only takes 0.6-0.9ml, of 50mg, in 15ml.
Would be even less if using straight 100mg.

I buy the 100 mg/ml in pg from heartland vapes. I enjoy the clean taste of it. Usually mix with 3mg/ml total and 50/50 vg/pg blend. I find it works well in my tanks and still gives me just enough nic, flavor, and throat hit all in all.

Sometimes I go for a 6mg bottle mixup but whew...it knocks me on my bottom if I adv it. ;)

I use 30ml and 15ml brown bottles and freeze my nic after rebottling. When I need it again I set it in a dark place for about 30 mins til it gets to room temp. I'm still a newb but it works for me. When I'm done mixing I recap it and pop it back in the freezer.

I use the same. Good quality at a good price. I have a few liters still in the original plastic I need to transfer into some 250 ml glass bottles for long term storage. I have several 15 ml glass bottles of the 100 mg nic in my mix box which also has my flavors, so when it's time to mix everything is there. I'm not terribly concerned with keeping a few small bottles of nic at room temperature for a month or two as I mix and use it up. When I'm running low I simply refill from a larger bottle in the freezer.

I love heartlands nic and their pg/vg is great imo. I may have to try what you've mentioned because constantly taking my little 15ml bottle in and out if the freezer every time I mix is getting old lol.

So it doesn't lose potency in a month at room temp? I keep my liquids in smaller containers in a shoebox, plus my bottles are amber colored. :)

ECX has 100mg -- http://www.ecigexpress.com/shop/e-l...bases-top/100mg-unflavored-nicotine-base.html

I always buy 100mg just because it's easier to store that way, and not difficult to mix, even at 3.5mg -- you just use a 1ml syringe for small amounts.
