What's the better do make my pg/vg car to mix?

i made some DIY a while back at 50/50 but my aspire did not like it. I want to go higher on pg but have a question. Should I just go like 70/30 pg/vg or add water to the mix to thin the vg?

You'll be fine with 70pg /30 vg without water additive.
