Hey all. I am looking for a new tank to throw on an ipv d3. I have a xouple of rebuildables, but find a tank style a bit more convenient for work and communtes. I am looking for something good for flavor and has a good capacity as well. Sell me on your favorites!

I'd say for me, it's a tie between the Sense Herakles and the OBS T-VCT tanks. They both have good flavor, but the OBS has top fill that the OG Herakles doesn't. The OBS also holds 6 ml which is almost double that of the Herakles.
I'm sure others will chime in with more current selections for you to choose from as I haven't bought any non - rebuildables in quite a while.

I know I'm in the minority but I dearly love my TFV4 and my TFV8. Both have worked flawlessly for me, coils are lasting me three weeks avg, and are readily available. I have them on a Kbox 200, and an Alien. I run about 80-95 watts.

The battery on the d3 would last much longer with the kanger or isub.

Lately, my go to tanks are Baby Beast and Herakles Plus, but the latter only with the 0.6 Herk Pro coil. Both at around 64w, but on dual 18650 mods for battery life. Both these setups have smoothness, flavor, and moderately good clouds. But for capacity, Big Baby rather than Baby.

The original Crown, the Crown II isn't bad but the original is best. The Clieto, I bought on a whim, it's OK but the first Crown still is king.

if yu max is 80 watts get the regular clieto. coils are good from 30-70 watts depending on which one. they are easy to find and not expensive. they make kenthal and SS ones and there are a ton of accessoires for the tank like drip tips and bubble tanks. and the tank itself is super cheap at under 20 bucks. small compact and light.

The cleito has great flavor and us very simple..might be my daily tank for work now. It isn't that juice hungry and vapor is about 50% of my avocado

I think the Crown II is best. Everyone is going to give a different answer as you see. This is personal opinion. As they are now all very good. The problem with the Crown II is you will need way more than 80 watts. I would say 90 minimum. Preferably 120-130. To really rock it. Plus Temp control which I have at 430. That is on the .25 SS coil. It may not perform for some people because it takes way more wattage than you think and Temp control.

For the OP I would get a Kanger Subtank or original Clieto. No way you can do a TFV8. To make that sing you need at least 160 watts IMO. R055, I am surprised you said the Crown II is not as good as the original. For once I think they actually improved something. The screw is a big deal. You need to put a proper size silicone O-ring in the cap replacing the Fender washer. It does in fact suck with the Fender washer.

I went with a cleito. It has been working really great so far. Good flavor. Good capacity. Super simple design.

I agree wholeheartedly. Has really good flavor, and the coils are affordable....fuck Uwell and their hit & miss coils.

I have the Cleito, Big Baby Beast, Baby Beast, Melo 3 mini and Subtank mini. I have to say that flavor wise, the baby family is the best, then the Cleito. For the Melo 3 mini and the Subtank mini, they are not even close to the Cleito, but again, the baby family is the best.

Uwell coil issues for the Crown II, not the original Crown. They have finally fixed the coil issues with the Crown II.

The original Crown the flavor, cloud production and build quality is far superior to the Clieto. The Clieto while a decent tank the build quality is very cheap, the Crown I is built like a tank and has excellent machining. The factory coils for the Crown I are excellent quality also, the RBA deck takes time to find the right build/wick combination but once found is very simple.

The Crown II had issues with the first 3 versions of coils, well known but the 4th version they finally fixed the problem. The RBA deck is much easier to build on than the first Crown and I like it. The Crown II is a solid tank and really enjoy it with the RBA deck.

The Clieto has a very cheap feel and fragile construction, performs decent and the RBA deck is great. I keep that combo in my FDA Stash now in case it's needed.

All aspire products feel a little cheap the clieto just punches above its weight class for some reason.

The earlier Tanks had solid construction but their newer designs they have really cheaped out.
Their Mod's are pure trash, refuse to buy any of their Mods after getting bent over with their ESP and Pegasus Mod's.

I just consider aspire and kanger as basic starter shit. It'll get you off cigs.

Yep, my first rig was the Aspire Nautilus Mini and an iStick 30W. It got me off the Stinkies, graduated up to the iStick 50W and the Crown that suited me great. Then I went down the Rabbit Hole with the SquapeRS and Mutation V4, that's where the real fun/satisfaction began. ;)

I may move back to regulated Mod's later but I honestly doubt it, but never say never ;)

I sold my Ohmwrecker G2, good Mod, hits very well. But it was just gathering dust and someone here was in need so I sold it. The other regulated Mod's I have are in the FDA Stash and only one I use is the RX200, that's only used as a mobile build deck ;)

Love the smoothness of Mechs plus pure simplicity of them. That and I've yet to see any regulated mod that can match the beauty and feel of a quality Mech

I rather enjoyed my big baby. That would be my favorite sub Ohm so far. I've only had the big and little baby, a cleato, and a cubis pro though. Now I run a Griffin 25+ and an ammit.

I'm running a .4 ohm cleito right now. I think I'm gonna get the rba for it from fasttech and deck it out with glass and what not too
