So I'm about to buy the smok xcube 2 and I have the LG HE4 18650 2500mAh 35AA batteries in my cart are these the best batteries for this mod or would something else be better I heard to stay away from Sony cause they stopped manufactoring the vct4 and vtc5 and that most likely any on the market are fakes any input would be great tna

First... the LG HE4 are 20 Amp Continuous Rated. I have 'em, I use 'em, I love 'em.

They are just fine for the xBrick II, if you are usually using a maximum of 120 to 130 watts.

If you find you are going higher often, or regularly, then do get the Samsung 25Rs.
The other options are the dreaded :) "are they real" 30A VTCs, or to truly be the safest... sacrifice a little capacity (mAh) and find the higher continuous rated LG HB6 (30A?).

Either Jon from Li-IonWarehouse or Mooch will be along to correct me, I'm sure. Listen to them. :D

I did a little more googling and ended going with the MXJO High Drain 35A 2500mAh 18650 I'm thinking this was a better choice

Liion Wholesale, not warehouse, but....well....that was a variation I never thought of so I just registered liionwarehouse.com so thanks! :)

Not a better choice but those will work just fine for you, as Jim mentioned they're 20A batteries very similar to the LG HE2 just at a higher price.
