Why can't I find a good looking mod?

I am newer to vaping, and I see all these crazy nice and cool setups that are absolutely beautiful, but I can't find one that I can buy that doesn't look generic. Personally I want something with 200w, and possibly temp control (although I'm not experienced enough to build a tc coil yet) and I want it to look amazing. The closest thing I've found that meets my needs is the sigelei 213 (pic below) but I want a few more options instead of just buying the first mod I see. What are your opinions and suggestions?

Seems you're one of those hard to pleased, so I'd say you go with that sig 213. Unless you're willing to spend more on the DNA200 chips, I've seen (and own) some really nice looking ones. Just google images for DNA200.

Theres plenty of uber sexy mods out there if your willing to drop some cash. Pandora mods, Nico mods, Axis Vape (my favorites, the hybrids are insane), Lost Vapes, Surrics, Project Sub Ohm designed stuff, and the list goes on. And thats just Regulated stuff, theres oodles and oodles of amazing looking Mech devices out there as well.

But as with everything else, if you want amazing quality and one of a kind style looks, your usually gonna have to pay amazing quality and one of a kind style prices.

like mythaical said,... they are there, usually you have to look a little bit and be willing do drop some coin...
while I tend to consider safety and function more important than looks; I certainly understand the desire for something to look nice.
You may want to consider a custom build DNA or SX mod.
Sometimes there are local custom box modders that work through local vape shops as well.
Yihi has the dual battery SX mod, which is pretty nice looking

As for on out of the box "sexy mods" Signature mods and BMI mods have always been known for their looks and function.

My opinion is, mods are most all made mass production. Unless you are willing to spend a VERY large sum of money for a mod to "look different" then you are stuck with generic looks.

One company though, has helped us make our mods look "our own". @Jwraps makes skins for most popular mods. You can even make one of your very own that no one else has. And it's cheap to wrap a mod with Jwraps.

I'm in love with the axis vape mods but my wallet is already hurting to be expected of course. @f1r3b1rd I am all about safety and function, and that is why I have my ipv4s with a royal Hunter setup. I'm comfortable building on it and I know my ipv4s won't let me kill myself. Now I'm looking for something flashy that is pushing the 200w threshold. I want something that looks nice and can push wattage to chuck clouds.

I think I'm going to splurge and get and M17 by Axis Vapes. They're so nice, they have the DNA200 and they look absolutely incredible. The next trick is going to be finding an rda worth putting on it!!!!

What are you looking for in the mod itself? Most regulated mods are made for the masses and will not be made to look different as it wouldnt make them money...there only a few that jump the barrier that are regulated and flashy. Most of the High End Gear thats different are Mech's...unless you find someone to make what your looking for. These are some HEMO Regulated Mods but most of them only use a DNA40 and are Stab Wood or Handmade....

I'm in a holding pattern, just got that 50w prorape, have a reo on its way, then i'm going to wait until and see what the next technology pop brings. I will be sending one of my dna200s to Darren to make look good though.

If you believe that the police will shoot you because your holding something that looks like a gun grip then you should seriously check the training your police have locally...
They are not going to pop up on sight blazing if they did think you were holding a weapon for one. For 2 your hand covers 90% of what looks like a gun in your hand. For three there are many things that have the same type of grip and are used everyday but people arent shot holding them...
If you were going to be shot holding a "Gun Grip Mod" then you would be shot by that same police officer holding a cellphone...they are trained to see things for what they are and if they shot you for something that only resembles a handle of a gun then it wouldnt matter what your holding...

Thats your Local PD then, its not the same for the rest of us...If thats how they approach a situation I would send some papers in to have them evaluated.
There isnt a Barrel nor a hole for a projectile to be released. There isnt a way to stuff ammunition inside it for use. There isnt a firing pin. I carry daily, sometimes even openly and in my area police arent as trigger happy as others...If your have a trigger happy police force then that right there is putting everyone at risk and you along with others should take a approach that has them checked out for issues and psych treatment. If you feel that insecure and afraid of the protecting units in your town then I suggest you say something or move out, chances are you will be shot either way if they would open fire for a mod that has one or 2 similarities to a firearm...would it be the same if it looked like a drill? maybe a item scanner to tag printer? These are all things that resemble guns and people actually have holsters for them but I havent heard in the news lately about people being shot using them or having them at their side...let alone for carrying REAL firearms....the ones that do open fire on someone just holding a firearm usually get placed into a facility and are evaluated for their actions, then suspended for their inability to distinguish a real threat.

You wont change perception you will change whos in the field. If they cannot prove that they can handle themselves or distinguish one from a non threat then they wont be kept on duty or in the public.

Are you sure its not you then? Are you doing something that makes that act this way towards you? Is there something thats obvious to others that make it seem like your a threat? Ive lived all over, in super rural places and in big cities and very urban and poor places, and the cops are definitely different. If you live in a rural small town then you probably have cops who are friendly and helpful and you probably love the police. If you come from a major city, especially the poor section 8 side, then you know all too well that cops dont play around. Just cuz you LOOK like youre up to no good or like you dont belong there, or just for no reason at all, they pop outta that car in a full sprint and damn near tackle you without sayin shit and put you in handcuffs. Oh, and I didnt even do anything wrong? Just cuz your doing stop and frisks? Whatever. And Im a white male in America. I cant imagine how bad it is if your a "minority"

I have never had weapons drawn on me besides the assault.

Yep I get hassled probably cause I typically have to wear Business casual and they see me and being a White boy with Blond hair they then see a odd shaped black device.. They probably think "Ohh shit he is going postal" he is going to shoot up that office building "! Ohh my god he is getting on that Train with a oddshaped Black device.. .. So after countless encouters I have decided to never buy a black Mod again.. Maybe a blue Mod... The next test will be me taking out my Blue DNA 200 for awhile and leaving the Black things at home.. I am betting that then I will have no issue.

That was my point at a high level "Perception" in my experience in large cities Cop's are on edge they expect at any moment some nut bag that may yell "All the power the the Vape God" then blow up the block.. Now again thats my perception.. I have never had a problem in Rural areas only in the midst of large cities which sadly I have to frequent..

But for real, to clarify, I dont have a problem with police at all. Im not a "fuck the police" kind of dude, and I dont take any kind of pleasure out of seeing them hurt or killed at all. Im just saying, Ive experienced first hand what people are talking about when they take about how bad cops can be. Shits real out there, that stop and frisk for no reason shit is legit, and they get extremely aggressive really fast. It is what it is.

Where Im living now though, police are super nice and polite. I got pulled over twice the last month or so for the same shit, and both times got just a warning when they could have fucked me in the ass with tickets and fines. So, theres 2 sides to it.
