So what is the deal. The pre mades have the actual chimney. Cotton around the coil. Everything I've looked at wicking vertical coils is wick inside coil. What is the point of having wick in coil with bottom air flow?
So I have the velocity deck, and was looking at doing vertical. It just seems to me you would pack cotton around the coil. I assume you need cotton on floor of deck to prevent leaking. Cotton down the holes to wick from juice ports. It just seems you would expose more juice to the heat instead of the cotton wick inside.
So who has wrapped cotton on upside of coil? Or why do I not want to do that?
