Whenever a politician resorts to "common sense" as the justification for a new law, that means they have no real justification.

Dr. Michael Fiore, founder of the University of Wisconsin’s Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention, said the health effects of vaping are still unknown.
That's code for, "We've been unable to find a single negative effect," because if they had, they would have announced it from the roof-tops using megaphones.
