The whole "Kids" argument is bull shit. If people would raise their kids they won't have to fear things they don't want them to do.
Marilyn Manson said this back in the 90s' when asked about his effect on kids.

"Raise your kids, or someone like Marilyn Manson will."

Same goes for Tobacco, Drugs, whatever it may be. If you don't want your children exposed to whatever, make it your priority to keep them from it. I know that Drugs and E Cigs are a far cry as far as the damage they have, but these activist against e cigs need to take some personal responsibility.
They act like kids just get lured in to vape shops like there is some sort of subconscious signal being sent.
