Wtf is this rda/rta/ single post thing????

Not able to give brand name or model name. Can say it appears to be what is called a "genny" type RDA.
To build you put one lead wire on the top of the post, screw it taut. The other lead goes down below on the post as the negative/ground.
Your wick goes through your coil with the ends draping down into the holes on the deck's base. Underneath the base will be a well for your juice.
Here's a video on genisis style RDAs.
The one you have appears to be missing its well/tank. If not missing the whole tank it is missing at least the tube section.
People use mesh screen for wick, pieces of steel cable, cotton, rayon. Even know some what use quartz crystals.
The material draws the juice up to the inside of the coil to where the coil can heat it up and atomize/vaporize it. As to what material use, that's up to you & limits of what works effectively.
