Well, I don't really want to sell but since loosing my job and unemployment denying me at the protest of my previous employer and now having to appeal....well my loss is someone elses rare gain. Here We have an Authentic JD Tech Black Copper Stingray mechanical mod #975. Purchased last year as my tax return treat from Vaperoo in San Diego this has been the jewel of my collection. I have used it a total of four days and and only in the evening after work. It's only had two batteries in it and spent the rest of the time in it's bag in a case well protected. I also have an authentic JD tech Hybrid connector I am adding in with it.

I can except Paypal or am willing to meet if in the Seattle/Tacoma area....would love to keep it local if possible. Both pieces are in top condition and well loved and I am sad to let them go but rent has to be paid.

I am asking 140 or best offer for the BC Stingray and the hybrid adaptor (yes the drip it is included as well)
Edit: The Stingray is sold (I am having sellers remorse but I am sure it's going to a far better home where someone will actually use it and not just look at it :) )
Edit: The Manta V2 Sold....Stingray still availible
I'll take 200 for both pieces. Prices include priority shipping and as a professional mover they will be well protected and insured.

Where else are you going to find this mod at that price in this condition...my misfortune is going to be your gain. Thank you for taking the time to at least look. And, just so there is no question....the Stingray X is not part of this sale, it is just being used as a stand for the atty in this picture.

I don't think its lack of interest bub, but the fact you're trying to sell pre-owned equipment at what it'd cost new. Good luck on ebay!

Well...first off I must admit you're half right, the mod has barely been used...That mod was over 200 new. I have the reciept around here to prove it. I forked out for an authentic hybrid adaptor for it because this one didn't come with it. I ran an atty on it for a bit just to use it and make sure it was all in good order. Haven't used the original top cap, just the hybrid adaptor.

The atomizer is new and unused, hasn't been unwrapped even. I have two of them.

....I threw up a number hoping for a good haggle...where's people's sense of adventure now a days? :)

Oh well, worst case I keep it.

GLWTS and sorry 'bout the recent run of bad luck, hope things improve soon...but might I ask if you're in SeaTac how you end up buying so much stuff down here in SD? If you're in town with any frequency I feel like I owe you a beer for all the great stuff you've contributed to the site...

Thanks...but I don't think anyone owes me anything....I try to donate as much time as I can here to help people as much as I can as my way of PIF for the new guys....as someone once said to me.... "I <3 the weaker fans.." :)

Ha, as for those, I actually ordered those via phone for the mod last year, and the atty threw their website this year. :) Our local vape shops are actually quite pricey and I don't buy many mods from them do due to that....The cost for a business to run in WA state is getting pretty steep, so their need to mark up for that and to make a profit plus adding the current sales tax which is 9.6 in my area just makes it sadly not cost effective for big ticket items when I think I can afford them. Besides...Vaperoo is an awesome little shop with excellent customer service and they usually have the authentic I want in stock when VapeRev and everyone else is sold out. I don't know how they do it but I love 'em for it.

I'd love to sit down and have a root beer (I can't drink cause of the meds I'm on,) with you but unforchinately since the blood clots struck last year the doctor's have restricted me to local work only. I am a household mover and I drive the big trucks. I was an over the road guy for 7 out of the last 10 years on and off. I lived in San Jose long ago before for I started vaping and I grew up between the Seattle area and OC going back and forth. That combined with one of the company's I worked for based out of here that has satelite warehouses down in Vista and San Diego I've spent a lot of my life on the 5 driving back and forth. :) I love Oceanside and Imperial beach but I couldn't live in SD....It's a beautiful place but every time I visit I feel like I need a membership card to stay for any length of time, or at least a visitors pass. I felt the same way about up here in a town called Redmond...that's the city where Microsoft headquarter's is. Thanks to them, what once was an honest meager little redneck town has because one of the most overpriced cities in the state

hell, it's gotten so crazy down there and crowded as much as I would love to move back to south LA county or OC I don't think I could do it. It's just gotten so crowded down in SoCal.... Plus most of my family is all up here now and this is kinda where I finally feel like I settled (although the winter rain makes me question my choice :) ) Next time I make it down that way when the doc's finally give me back my wings I'd be more than happy to meet up with you at JV's Burritos :D

JV's in Oside? A bit of a trek from me, but some buddies used to live nearby and we'd hit that place up with frequency - no real Mexican food exists north of the San Diego County line, as anyone who's ever been here can attest... :D

I grew up about 20 miles east of the city, still some light suburban/rural areas out there relaxed enough to breathe, though I moved to the city proper about the time my daughter started kindergarten seven years ago - growing up at the beach has been great for her, which is what I'd always wanted, though the one affordable part of town (OB = where the debris meets the sea) is getting to the point where we might end up priced out of our rental before I find something to buy, barring another late-2000s style real estate crash.

Glad you had luck with Vaperoo - I went in there once because they had a juice my wife adored before we started DIY, but when the guy tried to sell me Kanthal at $10 for 3' I never went back.

Again, hope you get back on the horse soon - moving is some serious shit. That's the toughest of the many hats I wear...

Yeah, I wouldn't buy kanthal from them...I've actually only owned a couple authentic anythings unless you count my Vaporsharks but Vaperoo was the place that just happened to have them.

So you grew up east of SD proper eh? I know some of that area...they moved up to Portland for a job after graduating college but I have a couple of good friends that lived in El Cajon for five years going threw school...I've spend a few good weekends out there....I liked it. Don't take this the wrong way but it felt kinda like a redneck country town next to the beach and big city...for me that makes all of the best worlds within a couple hours drive of each other depending on traffic :) But you hit the nail on the head talking about property prices...that's kinda what I meant by saying you gotta have a "membership" card to live there....same reason I don't go back to LA....even down in Bellflower and that side of town is just so expensive...and what do you get for it these days? Not much :(

That's still awesome that you could give your daughter at least part of her childhood there...I hope you find a place and can stay. Some of my best memories as a child were going to Huntington (my favorite,) and Venice and Laguna (my mother's favorite beaches to tan and boy watch :) ) growing up as a little it in the summer and as I got bigger boogie boarding and swimming practicing falling off a skimboard :) I wish you the best that you're able to stay there :)

Heck, your profile says you're 31, there's a chance I knew your El Cajon buddies (I'm 32 and must have met half the town my age at least once or twice since I was the one kid I knew that owned a house out in Granite Hills when I was 18)...wait, you said your friends went to college - we were kinda roughnecks, I was the East County redneck (and damn proud of that description) that stumbled into a real estate gig.

Trips to Huntington were a staple once I got a license, though we were headed up there for Sheep Hills, a kind of BMX rider mecca off Brookhurst...good times!

Ha, right on! I love Huntington....my mom loved Laguna. She went to the beach just to lay in the sand and tan and wouldn't get within ten feet of the shore for fear of getting her perm wet :) It's really hard to explain to a mom that doesn't boogie board or skim board that Laguna is too rocky and tears up your face when you eat it if they never played in the water in the first place :)

I don't know if you'd know my friends, they were pretty straight edge'd homebodies...They moved out from Middle of nowhere Virgina though in their early 20's so you might. Not too many people from Floyd County Virgina out that way...even in the great mixer that is the lower three counties. :) I was always proud of my "redneck" roots as well...I got offended if someone called me a hillbilly....I lived in the flats and refused to be confused with the likes of those kind of peoples :D

I am sadly fairly clumbsy and despite my size and build I am, for a better way of putting it, athletically retarded....I stuck to the surf and water activities the more as I got older, I never could skate or stand up on a surf board. (I didn't really skimboard till I was an adult and was given an old super wide skimboard....I called it the longboard equivalent skimboard for "specially gifted" people like me,) I did alright with rollerblades but once my feet got bigger than a 12 as settled at size 15 as I got older I couldn't afford a pair if I found one and gave that up....and as for BMX, I could barely jump a curb and I bit it twice trying that so I stuck mainly to cruising if I rode a bike at all....I do better with my feet firmly on the ground or things that have wheels and a motor :)
