WTS or WTT - Kayfun Lite Plus and a Smok-E Mountain Mech Mod

Hi all, I have a brand new Kayfun Lite Plus and a barely used Smok-E Mountain Stainless Steel Mech Mod (Lightweight) for sale or trade.

The Kayfun has never had a drop of ejuice in it. It is still brand new and comes with the Nano Kit and extras.
The Smok-E Mountain Mech Mod is a 9.5 out of 10. I barely used it if at all.

I want to trade these two items for a Authentic HexOhm v3

If no one wants to trade for that then I can sell these two items for $140 dollars (I have PayPal in case you are wondering).

Both items are authentic and when I bought the Kayfun they could not be found anywhere in the USA so I had to buy it from the U.K. and it was expensive.... I think I paid like $130 dollars for it.

The Smok-E Mountain Mech Mod cost me $165 brand new. You can use magnets in the firing button or you can use the spring. I will include both and I will ship it to you for free!

Well, that's ok; I feel kinda bad now about asking, though I truly didn't think you'd be willing to separate them. I don't have the money right now... if that's still unsold by the end of the month, my husband will have a REALLY good check, and I can probably talk him into it. I'd really like to have it; my other 2 KFL+'s are tobeco clones, and though they've always been great, I always kinda wondered how an authentic would differ. I'm strictly an RDA vaper at this point, but this summer, our son will be moving back home, and he's been informed that smoking won't be tolerated, he'll have to switch to vaping because we simply don't want to smell it, and he's more than willing -- knowing how easy quitting smoking was for ME, after 39 yrs of it, he agrees with me that it's nothing short of miraculous. So I mainly want that for him.

I am trying to get up the money so I can buy a HexOhm Mod, I want one badly but dang they are expensive!!!

You should check out the "Apocalypse RDA", it beats any other RDA I have tried. I have 4 of them now.... here is the link to it.

That blue is very pretty, but I'm strictly an Achilles RDA vaper, because it's the only RDA that has a super-tight draw, and never ever leaks. The flavor is super-saturated, TH is amazing, vapes like a champ at 9-10 watts, has a 2.5ml well, and never ever leaks unless you just get crazy filling it. Some people say things like "well you can adjust the airflow, blah blah blah"... but if the interior air hole is bigger than 2mm (though I prefer smaller, like the Achilles 1.5mm), then it's NEVER going to provide a really good MtL vape, the kind that feels like vaping a carto or smoking a cigarette.

If I didn't vape a really superb ejuice that's a massive gunk monster, I'd never have looked further than my KFL+'s, because their vape suited me perfectly. But the backwashed gunk was causing me to waste enormous amounts of juice, so I had to find an RDA I really liked. The Magma is a pretty good vape, using just one airhole, but it leaks like a bastard and has to be kept vertical or juice just pours out. When I found the Achilles, I found nirvana. Now I'm so spoiled with it, I can't really taste anything from the Kayfuns anymore, which is why I'm going to give them to my son.

Oh yeah, there is no comparison between the Kayfun clones and the authentic Kayfun!

I tried like 4 of the clones and they all had major leaks! I bought the one I'm selling from the U.K. because when I wanted one that were all sold out here in the USA.

The authentic is AWESOME! You can't imagine how nice it is (threads, O-Rings, etc)!

No way. It says right in the specs that it has 5mm airflow... and it will ONLY take one of those huge "huffing" type driptips. I don't huff my vape, I vape it.

This is the inner airhole of an Achilles:



Somewhere between 1.5mm and 2mm. THAT is what gives it a tight draw, not how you adjust the outer airflow.

ETA: plus, it fastens with o-rings rather than threads. I'd rather be beaten with a buggywhip than try to get a cap on, on an o-ring RDA.

If you can solder and drill some holes you can build a hex box for a hell of alot less money...Building a mech mod is cheap...Most of the cost is for the name and overhead and whatever else they figure in...They build that box for less than $100 easily...Just a thought.

That's how much it will open but all you do is turn the top and the holes close off. The Apocalypse is a pretty sweet setup. Check out a review of it on YouTube sometime if you want.

Yes the Hex's are expensive... but it's a regulated box mod right? The version 2 won't fire below 0.30 sub ohms but the version 3.0 will fire down to 0.10 sub ohms. So that makes it a regulated box mod right? I'm using the RX200s right now and it was only 50 dollars plus you get a oled screen. I can't believe how much the new HexOhms are... I'm on their trading FB page so hopefully I'll find a cheaper one?

I can drill but I can't solder worth a crap. I would probably blow my face off if I built one of my own. LOL!

Without being able to use a driptip with a 4-5mm opening, it would be utterly useless to me even if the airflow could be shut off COMPLETELY.

Cool! So how do you like it? Way better than those clones huh? I also sent you the NANO Kit which will make it shorter but you won't get as much ejuice in it. I think the clear tube on the Kayfun is from the Nano Kit.

The threading is DEFINITELY 500% better than the clones -- I never really found anything wrong with those tobecos, but just as soon as I started unthreading this one to get it boiled before using it, I could tell the diff RIGHT away -- like a hot knife thru butter.

I'm still in the process of breaking it in, though, so won't know for a few more days about the flavor. I did realize one thing, though -- I recently had to replace the coil on my Achilles, which reacquainted me with the fact that anytime that both the wick AND coil is brand new, the break-in takes a great deal longer than just with a re-wicking. I may need to go a full week, let the wick get really gunked, then pull it, dry-burn, and re-wick, then break in THAT wick, before I can tell about the flavor. It's *just* getting to the point, after about 3-4 days, that I can taste *something* of the juice, and not just the wick, but... new coil takes a while.

I may also need to go back to slightly higher percentages of flavoring, and especially the Flash for the TH, to be able to get as much flavor and TH from it as I get from my Achilles. And perhaps also slightly higher wattage -- I was vaping my Kayfuns at 10w-10.5w when I first got my Achilles and had to go back to 9w-9.5w, and with the Achilles, I also had to immediately drop the nic just a little, because the Achilles delivers such intense TH. It's kind of a process of remembering where I was with Kayfuns, before the Achilles was in the picture.

I need to get $85 dollars for it, it's still brand new and I can include magnets do you can use them in the fire button if you don't want to use the spring. It's really too simple to change it out. Plus the post that touches the bottom of your RDA or RDTA to give it electricity can be adjusted up or down so you get a great connection.

Sounds great, Zander. Both of my mechs are telescopic, so they have that adjustable 510 pin -- kind of a pain in a telescopic; you have to attach the atty to the top part, THEN adjust the telescopic length, but it does make for a good connection. One of my mechs has that magnetic switch and it's great; feels sturdier, more reliable than the spring in the other.

Yeah I guess the guy didn't want it. My Vanilla tube mod is not telescopic, you just adjust the screws in the top (which screws out) and then you can put your atty on and get the main middle screw tight as heck on the atty then screw the whole top back on. That main middle screw (copper) goes from the battery straight to the atty! Nice!!
