X Cube II Questions

I have been wanting one of these for a while, and I finally got one. I've been using it for about a week now and love it. I do have a couple of questions about some things with it, though. Hopefully, someon can clear them up.

The first is the Download option under the Settings menu. Does anyone know what this is for? I haven't been able to find anything in my searches about it.

Also, has anyone used the custom power modes? I know what they do, just wondering if anyone has tried it. What would the benefit to it be?

The download option also has me stumped, ir does absolutely nothing.

As for custom power, I dont use it but I guess the only real use for it is when you swap out tanks with different resisrances, you can easily get to your desired wattage without having to scroll through 1 watt at a time.

A tip though:

Every time you switch out tanks, make sure you fire the mod without a tank first before putting a different tank on to reset the resistance memory. Burnt a whole load of coils because of this st*pid feature.

the download option was because when it first came out stainless steel and titanium were added options you had to pay to download and add those to the xcube. Right around black friday I believe they decided to add them in as stock features. So the download is technically not used now. As for the custom mode I believe that is more of a memory type setting/function.

Oh, that makes sense about the TC modes. I remember all that being talked about. I knew you had to do something in the app to get it, but that was all I knew.

The custom power mode I'm talking about is inside the app, not the memory mode on the device. I went ahead and played with it some last night. You can set a certain power level for a minimum of one second durations. For example, I could set it to run at 75 watts for the first second, then 65 watts for the next two seconds, etc. up to five seconds from what I could tell. You can also do it with voltage. I guess maybe it's a good way to reduce your ramp up time?

I installed the newest version that just came out the other day, 1.094 I think it is. But I did it with the computer and cable method. How do you do it with the download option on the mod?
