The 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series cartoon is coming back in a new revival premiering on Disney+ in 2023.

As announced during Disney+ Day, a revival of the classic X-Men Saturday morning cartoon, currently called X-Men ‘97, will premiere exclusively on Disney’s streaming service.

The Wrap reports the series will pick up where the original series left off and original voice actors from the show are set the reprise their roles. This includes Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Lenore Zann (Rogue), George Buza (Beast), and more.

In addition, new cast members will include Jennifer Hale, Ray Chase, and more.

The series, produced by Marvel Studios, will likely channel the original 90s series as best it can but we’ll have to wait to see how Marvel updates the classic for modern audiences.
