Speaking about X-Men: Apocalypse at San Diego Comic-Con, Charles Xavier actor James McAvoy told IGN, "At the end of this movie, you definitely see my character in a slightly different frame of mind, maybe being a bit more violent."
McAvoy didn't elaborate on the cause and effect of Xavier becoming more violent. When asked about his future on the X-Men film franchise, McAvoy said he expected it to go on as long as "Simon
keeps doing interesting things with it." And, of course, if Apocalypse makes money.
"I'm well up for it," he said about getting involved with more than the three X-Men films he'd already signed up for. McAvoy also remained optimistic about the future of the film series without Magneto and Mystique.
